Campground cabin

First, it's important to realize bedding and towels are not provided. We had to go to Wal-Mart to buy all that since we were coming from out of town. But, looking back at the description it never said they were provided; my bad for assuming. The cabin was adequate, nothing fancy. However, the campground was beautiful and we enjoyed being there.

Cabin

No TV or Internet unless you paid for it, no hangers for clothes, sleeping arrangements were not conducive for 2 people.

Unfortunately, I cannot rate this property high because it didn't live up to "charming cottage" it's advertised as. It's important to note that the bedroom with the larger bed is actually a portioned off part of a screened in porch that is connected to the trailer. If you have children, this is not the property for you as your child would be locked in the trailer while you were locked in a completely different space with screened porch that is not able to be locked between you. The AC did not cool and the owner's response was to open the windows. When we tried to do this, the windowsills were full of ants. The owner's response to that was there was spray in the cabinet. That was not the best option as I had breathing issues and cannot stand the spray, and we had out two pets with us. However, we sprayed anyway. This didn't stop the ants in the kitchen or bathroom, and we weren't able to open the windows because it began to storm. The owner advised it was what we should expect because it was a campground. I have camped all my life and never experienced this level of ants in my accommodations. This property didn't live up to expectations and the owner basically said it was because it wasn't the "season". If that's the case the unit shouldn't have been rented. If you want a clean, nice experience, this is not the unit for you. Hopefully it will improve with time.
