Great location, close to food and breweries!

The house was very clean and neatly decorated. Gwen thought of just about anything you could think of needing when you stay over somewhere. The hot tub was great after skiing at Mt. Bachelor for the day. The house is a short Uber to a ton of breweries with amazing food. I will be back to visit Bend in the future and will be staying at this house again!

Some little things

Overall was clean and well stocked. The fireplace didn’t work and we had to clean the patio to sit outside. The front stairs seem a little unsafe and needs a handrail for us older folks. Also house was advertised as a two story but actually is a one story with a basement without a bathroom. All in all, it was a nice place and the beds were great.

Hi Pam, thank you for staying! We really appreciate you noting the cleanliness of our home along with our awesome beds! We pride ourselves on fully stocking our coffee, tea and hot cocoa bar along with all the kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies you could ever need. :). I do apologize for the fireplace not working during your stay, we didn't realize and have since fixed the problem! Also, I'm not sure where on our listing it says we are two stories, but I'll be sure to hunt that down. We are a single story with a fully finished basement with lush carpet, windows and natural light. Our game room, third bedroom and office work station is downstairs for everyone's enjoyment. Thank you for noting the need for a handrail in the front. This is a wonderful idea and we've taken this feedback and scheduled someone to install one. In addition, since your stay, we have upgraded all our outdoor pillows and added a beautiful side patio with a lovely wood firepit area, adirondack chairs and string lights overhead to enjoy outside. Great house and easy, convenient location!

We loved staying here, the house was wonderful! Very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we could need. The location is very easy to access and close to everything I love about the west side of Bend. Will definitely stay there again in the future if available.

Cool and cozy stay in Bend

My family had a wonderful time staying at the house! The accommodations were very clean and comfortable for all of the adults and 10-month-old little one alike. We spent most of our time out and about exploring River West and Downtown (super walkable!), but the space would be an awesome home base for more exploits in nature in the surrounding area. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Game Nights

We were in Bend for a golf tournament and we had a wonderful time relaxing in the house. The shuffle board table was great entertainment and then we played cards and dice until bedtime. We didn't use the hot tub but it was very clean - the cleaning service came while we were there too. For a small house it was very well laid out.

Loved Magnolia House

Our stay at Magnolia House was great! The accommodations were perfect for our family. Two teenage grandsons loved the game tables in the basement and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It’s within walking distance of downtown and long walks along the river. Would recommend staying here and would love to return someday.

Not handicap accessible - workable

One of our family members was my 84 yr old mom who uses a walker. We were able to help her with getting into and out of the home with careful and slow assistance, but the steps in the front aren't very wide and a handrail would be very useful. We back steps are a bit deeper, but also no handrails. Overall though, the house was a good fit. Well maintained and comfortable.

Nicely decorated and very clean.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. They host was very responsive when we reached out to them. The house was very comfortable and close to town. Our next stay in Bend will be back here again. Beds were extremely comfortable and everybody slept very well. We didn't get to use the fireplace but it would be great to use in the winter. Highly recommended place to stay in Bend.

Our names are Josh & Gwen Resendes and we are please to rent you our brand new Vacation Home. A little bit about us... Gwen grew up in San Diego and moved to the Northwest as a teenager with her parents... Years later, while vacationing, she met a nursing student named Josh, also vacationing, from Boston Massachusetts. Over the course of a couple years we got to know each other and eventually Josh decided the Pacific Northwest was for him... Fast forward to now, we're very happily married with two terrific boys. We currently live in the great state of Washington, but we love love love Bend. So we bought a house there and are so very happy to share it with you!

We have high standards for comfort and cleanliness, so if there is ever a problem please let us know and we will work to fix it!

We bought the Magnolia House for multiple reasons. First... you can walk everywhere! Our favorite place in Bend during the Summer is Drake Park & Mirror Pond. The Magnolia House is just blocks from there!

Second... it's in the heart of Bend's historic district. Our house was among some of the originals, built in 1925, it has so much character!

Third... it's central to EVERYTHING. Want to go to the mountain? 25 minutes later you're there! Want to hit a brewery? Grad a bike and a few minutes later, you're there! Want to float the river? 5 minutes down the road and you're there! Interested in shopping downtown at the quaint little shops? Walk there!

... I could go on and on, but you get the picture... :)
