Escape to our spacious house at 155 Shellfield Rd, a beautiful, peaceful waterfront retreat.

Located near multiple venues, our home is ideal for wedding guests, nature lovers, and anyone seeking a relaxing getaway on the river. This is a new construction home built to luxury standards. Imagine waking up to the serene beauty and the tranquil flow of the river. Our home features a large kitchen and great room, perfect for gatherings, where you can create lasting memories with loved ones. The open layout is ideal for socializing, while also providing plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.

Enjoy amazing views from the house, where you might even spot a bald eagle soaring overhead! The property offers plenty of space to relax and explore, including a fire pit for evening gatherings, and a dock for enjoying the waterfront. We provide kayaks, fishing poles, and other amenities for your enjoyment, ensuring there's always something to do.

Our luxury river house offers a 150' pier for fishing, a commercial Mega Slam basketball hoop, a 3000 sq ft concrete patio with a gas fire pit, and a huge private beach. Inside, you'll find two living rooms (one on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor), both with leather sectionals, and large smart TVs in every bedroom. The gourmet kitchen features a large island with quartz countertops, two ovens, a full-size refrigerator, and a full-size freezer.

We were really impressed with this property. When we arrived, the house was spotless, modern, and update exactly what you’d expect from a newer home. The screened-in porch was a great bonus, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot to escape the usual distractions, this is definitely the place.

Great Home and Dock for Fishing

House was new and large enough to accommodate 6 adults. The dock was awesome for crabbing and fishing. Firepit was fun for night hangouts!

Beautiful house and amazing views!

The views were so amazing from this lovely modern home. Lots of high end touches made it even more special. Very comfortable furniture and beds and lots of room to spread out. The firepit was awesome, and loved using the grill to make our meals. Definitely a special place!

Great home right on the Rappahannock River

Beautiful home right on the River with a small beach. Well stocked kitchen and large family room. Unfortunately, seating for only 8 for dining. Great screened in porch on back overlooking river and lots of open air play space under this elevated house.

Exceptional River House

This house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The house is very functional with many areas to gather, sleep and to get away from it all. We enjoyed the screened porch with wonderful river view, the patio and fire pit and kayaks and paddle board. We will be back!

Amazing home!

What a spectacular home and location. From the moment we walked in we were immediately at home and at peace. The home was beautifully appointed and the view of the river was amazing. House and furnishing and linens were absolutely spotless and impeccable. Thank you for hosting us.

A very special place on the river!

My friends and I spent a wonderful weekend enjoying all the comforts this lovely home provides - morning coffee in the screened porch, cocktails around the fire pit, and gathering in the welcoming kitchen/family room. The kitchen had everything we needed - the combo coffee maker/Keurig was particularly appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and the shower in the primary bedroom was luxurious, with three shower heads. Any large group or family would find this a perfect location.

Perfect Family Vacation

The house was well appointed and everyone was very comfortable and felt at home the entire time. The space was laid out well and even when all nine of us were together we never felt crowded. Proximity to water, beach and dock was a huge plus. Blake was attentive, responsive and gracious. The huge screened porch and the fire pit were ideal family gathering spots. The views were fantastic. Everyone agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't have asked for more!

While our stay at the property was short it exceeded our expectations. The home was decorated beautifully and the entire property was immaculately kept. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and even went above and beyond to provide a warm welcome. Despite being on the cooler side we loved the outdoor space and fishing off the dock was a huge hit with our kids. We would easily recommend this home to others and would be happy to stay again!

So comfortable and relaxing

We were 4 adults, 4 kids/teenagers and a baby. There was something for everyone. I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, beautiful water view, comfortable beds and large clean house. The boys loved the kayaks; especially when the dolphin pod came to play with them. Everyone had a great time! I highly recommend this property!

Great House + Location

We had a great stay. It was the perfect size and set up for three families with kids not to mention well appointed. They did a great job decorating and outfitting the house. We threw all the kids upstairs and they had a blast with the set up of the space and available activities. During the day, there were tons of things for kids to do outside and inside both. Great communication from Blake too - super welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Amazing house and owner

We had a group of 12 women for the annual oyster festival in urbanna. This is my 4th year going, others many more years and this was the most beautiful place we have stayed. The view is amazing. The house is extremely clean. So much room! Everything we needed. And the owner was beyond patient and very friendly with all of our 'neediness'.lol. Will definitely be staying here again!

Family Vacation

Our group of 8 adults and 4 kids, under 4 had a lovely 4 nights stay at this beautiful house. It was just as advertised, clean & spacious! We had no need to leave the property, just to get some groceries. The house was fully stocked with all essentials and bed were very comfortable. The kids had a blast on the little private beach. The owner was very responsive and even bought us Pizza for dinner one day. We will definitely recommend this place and will gladly return, if we are ever in Virginia again.

River Retreat

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this property. The house is very spacious and the views are spectacular. The beds and linens are comfortable and immaculate. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, pans, etc. The owners have provided equipment for so many activities from fishing and kayaking to enjoying the fire pit in the comfortable and sturdy outside furniture. The owners were very responsive to questions and reached out just to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely visit again.

The best vacation ever

This house is awesome. In person is better than the pictures. It has everything you need or think you might need and the owners are great and ready to help with anything you need. We had a blast and can't wait to go back again. We travel a lot and this is truly a gem. Definitely will recommend to anyone. Everyone had a comfortable bed and a spacious room to sleep in. The outdoor amenities are more than any other house.

Great stay!

We stayed here over spring break with 4 adults and 4 teens/pre teens and had a fantastic time! The house is very nice and Blake is very helpful and attentive. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking your own meals. There is plenty of room and the beds are nice and comfy. The couch was actually big enough for all of us to sit comfortably which was nice. The kids enjoyed the arcade games upstairs, the basketball, sidewalk chalk and the kayaks! The decor is just enough without looking sparse or cluttered. We really loved the beautiful sunrise over the river as well :) I would definitely recommend this house !

An amazing week!

This was our best vacation yet! Blake was kind and available anytime I had questions or needed anything. It is not easy to find a property that is perfect for traveling with teens, toddlers, and adults. We loved fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We also enjoyed tournaments of arcade games, corn hole, and ping pong. There was a variety of life jackets, chairs, towels, and beach toys that were available to us. We mainly cooked in the kitchen but we enjoyed a fantastic meal at 528 Prime. I cannot recommend this property enough!!

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view

Newly built house with all new amenities. The backyard patio and the grill was great. We enjoyed the view of Rappahannock while eating our barbecue. The view of rhe sunrise through the bedroom window was priceless. The screen porch upstairs was great and the thoughtfully placed dining table in this area allowed us to enjoy our meals whiling enjoying the surrounding beauty. Blake was a very responsive host and replied back within 5 minutes most of the time. Check-in, checkout was convenient. Overall it was great experience for us.

I would give a 6.

Went down for a family get together. Blake the owner was the most attentive owner I've ever communicated with. Every single time I had a question within minutes he communicated back with me. The home was beautiful and was ample space for everyone. The upstairs was perfect for our daughter her husband and 3 children. Everything you could ever need in a home was there. If you're thinking of renting this home don't hesitate you will be more than pleased. Thank you Blake.
