This was one of the greatest stays we have ever had! Not only is the property itself and the surrounding area absolutely beautiful, but our host Phil took so much extra time out of his day to show us around and make us feel comfortable. His home had all of the amenities we needed (and more) and he was always available if we had questions. The property was easy to find, following directions, and we were met on arrival with a friendly tour. Our kids have shared that they want to stay again, and we would recommend Phil's property to people looking for a private location that's within drivable distance to nearby beach towns (such as Hopkins). The poisonwood floors, built in trim details, local art and furniture were really lovely. We didn't utilize the pool much because our littlest one is a wild child and we didn't want to be disruptive. . .but the pool out the back patio is gorgeous and he had even generously offered for us to utilize the home gym they've set up as well as bicycles or paddleboards. They left a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated (and Cabernet Sauvignon, a favorite!) that we brought home to enjoy when we have a moment of downtime to reminisce our trip. We felt very safe staying at their rental and are already missing it! If you're on the fence or thinking about staying elsewhere, I recommend booking this!
