We enjoyed our stay immensely. Outstanding cleanliness, and everything we needed for the kitchen was provided. The board games were great, loved playing the dart game in the outdoor space, and the passes to the pier were a good bonus. My questions before the trip were promptly and thoroughly answered. We should have planned for groceries a little better as there isn't really a close, convenient grocery.

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. The AC worked great. The kitchen had everything for cooking. Plenty of hot water after multiple consecutive showers. The gas grill got the job done but was needing some maintenance. There were charcoal grills there though. My kids really loved fishing in the canal behind the house and riding in the kayak too. There were beach supplies there too like wheelbarrows to haul your chairs and tent to the beach which was like a block away. There were beach toys as well. Great views from the balcony. I would like coming back here again someday.

Great for Families!!

We really enjoyed this house and its location. The waterway behind the house had the sweetest turtles in it…🐢❤️ Melanie was quickly responsive to any/all communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful house.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the view out of the back of the house. The tiki bar was fun and our bed was very comfortable. Overall, we would definitely rent it again.

Love this location!

This beach house is in a great location and has fun things for the beach. The layout is nice with most bedrooms on one floor and the kitchen and living room on the top floor. Great for fun days and nights!

Super relaxing vacation - super clean, well equity spacious house - great location - convenient to the beach (a few hundred yards, easy walk) and non beach activities.

Great Vacation

This was our third year staying at Rodanthe Daze, and we had a wonderful time. The location of this property is just perfect for us since we like to fish off the pier and at the Salvo Day Use Area. Melanie is a very responsive owner, and we just love our time at her house!

So much fun!

The house perfectly fit our needs. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, skillets, etc. The included pier passes are great! We hope to stay here again.

Beautiful house with everything you could need!

We loved the house. Well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen and for the beach. Kids loved the kayaks, adults loved the beautiful views from the balconies! Will definitely be coming back!

Best house ever

This is the best house ever rented. The owners are very forthcoming. It is close to the Beach and the area is quiet. With the de ces backyard it is perfect for families with young kids. The house is well furnished and very clean.

Loved the Tiki Bar!

We had an amazing time at this house, and the owners could not have been nicer of more responsive. If you’re looking for a laid back town and neighborhood for an OBX experience, this is it. We loved going to the pier fishing and hanging out in the Tiki Bar in the evening. We will definitely be back next year, maybe sooner!!

Beach escape

This house was perfect, clean, comfortable a super short walk to beach and fishing pier. Melanie was easy to communicate with and responded close to immediately. We will definitely rent Rodanthe dayz again

Fantastic Family Getaway

This house was the perfect retreat for our mini family reunion. My daugter was so grateful for the pack and play, stoller, and toddler friendly dishes. When we weren't at the beach, we enjoyed sitting out on the back deck, relaxing in the hammock, feeding the turtles, and playing games around the table. The showers downstairs were nice for rinsing off after the beach and our granddaughter enjoyed some of the beach toys available. We also used the pier passes to catch a couple of sunrises/sunsets.

Great Location

This house was perfect for us. The location near the pier and places to eat. We really enjoyed the view from the back decks. We could watch the fish in the pond and enjoyed a bit of fishing. Our bed was comfortable and the kitchen was great with wonderful windows all over the top floor. We will return.

Perfect!

The house was perfect! Kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds and great location. We walked to the pier nightly. Our 4 year old enjoyed the arcade at the pier. The house has a fenced in yard in back which is good for the littles to play in yard safety. Under the house has good hangout spot. The added bathroom on ground floor was nice to have. A wonderful stay overall. Excited to go back next year.

We had a wonderful time. Our first impression of the place was it is a big house.

We had a wonderful time. Their was enough bedrooms for all 6 of us. Their was a fence around the yard so it was great to be able to keep our dogs their. My children enjoyed using the bicycles that was available there to use. Their was a grill do we used it every day. We lived outdoors. It was close enough to groceries, and other stores if needed. I would stay there again.

Perfect home, great location

We stayed in this home with a group of 7 adults and 1 baby for two nights. The house is in a great location - an easy walk to the beach. The owner was wonderful - he met us at the house and answered all of our questions. The house was very clean and even better than advertised on vrbo. There was a pack n' play and high chair for our baby. We would definitely stay in this house again! We went to Waterman's for dinner one night - it's about a mile and a half from the house. It was delicious!
