Internet:
5/5 In latin America, internet CAN be a problem, but we had no issue during our 2 week stay. Speed was good enough to stream a movie.
Value:
5/5. Where else can you visit a historic posh city, stay in style right in the middle of all the action, and have every comfort of home? Probably nowhere. One of the more expensive rentals in Cuenca for a reason, the value cannot be beat.
Host:
5/5. Not only was the owner very quick to respond, EXTREMELY organized and professional, but the Property Managers were as well. We were met ahead of schedule, given a complete tour of the home and shown how to use/access everything, and given a plethora of ways to contact anyone, should we need to. They checked on us mid way through the stay, and met us on time the morning of check out. The entire process was the most smooth we have ever experienced.
Tips:
- Leave blowdryers, shampoo, conditioner, laptop at home.
- There is an elevator, but we did the stairs… WOW, they are a doozy, just an FYI.
- On Fri/Sat there is a bit of ‘city’ noise (cars, people, etc) but not overwhelming, the other nights were silent.
- We stayed under 2 weeks, the perfect amount of time in our opinion! Lots to see!
