The house features high ceilings that give it a fresh and open feeling. The living areas, kitchen, and dining spaces are very well appointed with all new fixtures, furniture, and appliances, providing the best getaway for a family trip or an adventure with your friends. Gather in the living area and wind down while planning tomorrow`s adventures and the six-person, saltwater hot tub has your back!



This home features 2 queen bedrooms with shared bath and king bedroom with TV and private bath. Upstairs loft has TV and Wii, desk and chair. Beautiful backyard patio and BBQ area.

Fantastic place to make home base for the rodeo and fishing. Wish the place had robes for the hot tub. Loved it!

Beautiful house, inside and out. Was perfect for our needs. Close to Avenue of the Giants, spacious and clean as well as having anything we needed. Host was pleasant and helpful.

I checked out the back yard, and the view was nice, but local critters had been using it, so I didn't go out again. The house was as advertised and clean.

Thanksgiving in the Redwoods

No real complaints. Only the body wash was empty, and we needed to buy batteries for the Wii remotes. Other than that it was great!

Beautiful stay

We stayed a couple nights so that we had a great landing place after exploring the redwoods for a few days. The home is immaculate and I could sit in the backyard for hours with the gorgeous landscaping! Comfy beds and wonderful to be able to do some laundry!

A beautiful house!

We totally enjoyed this place! Clean and comfortable house set on a cliff overlooking the Eel River in Rio Del. A small group of tall redwoods tower in the back yard, over a landscaped area with a walk path down to the fence where you can sit in the chairs and gaze down the cliff to the river. We spent a lot of the time in the 4 person hot tub! A lot of extra amenities and did i say clean?

Wonderful place to take in the redwoods. Secluded yet only 10 minutes away from Fortuna, 15 minutes from Ferndale and 20 minutes from Humboldt Redwoods Visitors Center. The house is perfect.

Very cute, comfortable house. The hot tub was great. We had room for the whole family. There wasn’t A/C but it wasn’t a problem even on the hottest days. The house was well taken care of, nestled on an overlook of the river. The place didn’t disappoint. Rio Del was much smaller than I had thought, with not many options. We stayed for a hike and were able to do that from here just fine. Overall I loved the house and would stay here again, but Rio Del was a bit too small for me, but maybe not for others.

Amazing house!

When we first walked through the door, my husband and I were greeted with the cleanest, nicest-smelling vacation rental we’re ever stayed in. We both thought it was like walking into a staged real estate showing or a model home. Inside and outside both exceeded our expectations, the view from the back yard is incredible! We had a group of 5 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. We liked having the large seating areas and well-appointed kitchen to cook and hang out in. I was also pleased to find a Level 2 EV charger within easy walking distance so we were able to conveniently charge our car during our stay. The only negative part of our experience was with the bed in the master bedroom. It seemed like there was a super-thick memory foam pad on top of the mattress which made it hard to even get into the bed (because it was so high). We had a hard time sleeping due to the foam being so hot and uncomfortable, and both ended up with back and shoulder pain that lasted for a few days after returning home. I would definitely stay at this rental again, but next time I’d try one of the other beds or even try sleeping on the sofa.

Quiet, comfortable home

This is a beautiful home — quiet and comfortable nestled on the edge of the Eel River in a great location. Spacious and very clean, this home has the added bonus of a hot tub (and the directions to use and clean were easy to follow). We loved the upstairs media room for a movie night and the hot tub to soothe sore muscles after hiking. We’d definitely choose this home again!
