Casa Pura Vida is an adorable 2bd/1ba villa the tropical paradise of Playa Potrero. A short, straight 12min walk from Villaggio’s gated community gets your toes in the sand & ocean. Large community pool is steps away & you’ll usually have it all to yourself. Free gated private parking gets you directly next to the unit. Brand new custom made furniture throughout, 1 king & 3 double beds (bunkbed and air mattress). Included in your stay is WiFi, washer/dryer, double kayak, life vests, boogie boards, snorkel gear, scooters, beach umbrella/chairs/towels/ice chest, BBQ, fully appointed kitchen, large tv, AC in each room, loaded kitchen w/extras like bartender set, pina colada “smoothie” maker, specialty glassware, outdoor citronella candles. Huge extended porch for relaxing and entertaining. Extra large outdoor dining, seats 10, hammocks, the world’s most comfortable egg chairs. Close to markets, amazing bakery & a plethora great restaurants

Laurie contacted us well before our arrival and gave us detailed instructions on how to access the property. She went out of hrer way to provide us with a bbq and a kettle. Both were much appreciated. The villa met all our needs. We particularly enjoyed the hanging chairs on the patio and the pool which was usually empty.

This sweet villa was perfect for our family of 4! The fully stocked kitchen was a great feature so we could make our own food, which was great for the kids. There are numerous 5-star beaches within a walk or 5-30 minute drive. The mango, avocado, and star fruit trees right outside the door felt really magical! The bird watching right at the villagio was the best we found our whole trip. So fun to drink coffee, eat mangos and watch the birds come in and out of the trees. The pool was so wonderful and hardly used by others in the villagio. Laurie was incredibly helpful and responsive with questions and ideas for restaurants, beaches, and tips on navigating the area. Very supportive, kind and thoughtful!We would repeat this trip in a heartbeat!

The Dixon family were wonderful guests and we look forward to hopefully welcoming them back. They showed a true love and appreciation for our villa and the area. I loved getting little updates of cool things they did and saw, it’s especially validating for new hosts. They took great care of the villa and helped keep all the mangos from going to waste 🤭.

We stayed here two times in 2 weeks because there was a promo code on two different rental sites. The owner allowed us to redeem the offers for each site for two shorter visits and got a better price. The beach is half a mile, maybe a 10min walk straight down the street to be on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back again next time I’m in Costa Rica. They have a lot of amenities that you don’t have to pay extra for like scooters, snorkeling stuff, life vests, kayak, bodyboards, ice chest, board/card games, outdoor games, beach umbrella/chairs. The pool is 30 seconds walk. The community is totally gated and only has about 20 units. We saw very few neighbors and the pool was always relaxing and empty like it was a private pool. There were many huge trees and so many beautiful birds. We could eat the fruit on the trees. There was mangos, avocados, lemons and starfruit. The unit has a little parking lot right next to it and only you and two other people are allowed to park in so you never have to worry about parking or walking far to get to your car. She answered all our questions quickly and helped us so much with suggestions and advice.

Great place, great location. Laurie was extremely helpful with the many questions we have as first time travelers to Costa Rica. The kids love the fruit trees. Foraging every morning for fresh mangos for breakfast.
