If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, newly renovated, spacious, perfectly located within the town, full equipped attic for your holiday or your working period in Como, you are in the right place.
This charming home is located in the magnificent city of Como and is only five minutes from the lake.
You are within walking distance of all that this lovely lake side city has to offer which includes restaurants, shopping, bars, train stations, supermarkets, museums and churches.
You do not need a car to visit the city because the property is located in the historic city center. However a private, secure parking place near the apartment is included in the price. Having parking in town is a great perk because in Como parking spaces are rare and expensive.
You will find all the comforts of a real home from home such as bed linen, towels, big TV, internet access, air conditioning, underfloor heating, balconies in each rooms, a big shower and a huge bathtub.
The apartment is on the fourth floor.
In the building there is a new lift until the third floor and then a spiral staircase to reach the apartment on the fourth floor.

The Host was so helpful in every way. She coordinated everything from the car in Milan to Como, restaurants, and then a car to Basal. The location was in the center of the town and perfect for shopping, dining, and exploring. The house was equipped with everything you might need. There is an elevator to the level of the entrance of apartments that helps with luggage. At the entrance there are quite a few steep stairs to navigate to be in the unit. When you climb the stairs you will love your accommodations. We would come again to the beautiful apartment.

Tucked away in the heart of Lake Como city center, this property is private spacious and full of charm. Everything we needed was provided... well appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, good hair dryer, lots of open air porches and plenty of room to relax. The villa is off of a pedestrian street, tucked behind wood and iron gates there is a private parking lot. Wonderful!

Wonderful apartment! Perfect location!

This apartment is ideally situated in the pedestrian zone of Como. Walking distance to restaurants, the Ferry and shops. Never needed a car! Thaoartment is as shown in photos: light, bright and well appointed! The host was warm and gracious. She answered all of our questions. The check in was very smooth. We would stay here again!

Great spot

Sveva was lovely to work with. The apartment is in a great spot for walking in Como to shops, restaurants and the lake, but just a block off the really loud areas so it was quiet at night. The final staircase is a bit tricky but we knew that when we rented the apartment and it was just fine for our group.

Amazing property in great location

One of my all time favorite VRBO apartments. Sveva met us at the property entrance and guided us to the private and secure parking spot. The apartment is on the top floor with many balconies with gorgeous views. The apartment is very large and modern. We loved it.

Perfect Place

We had a great stay in Como. The apartment perfectly fits our needs. It is modern but also cost, very clean and in great location very close to the town center. We stayed for four nights and didn’t move our car at all And above all Sveva is a fantastic host!

Great location and lovely property

This condo was in a perfect location...we could walk to the lake, the main square, etc very easily. Everything was clean, and the condo was lovely.

Best Como trip

Excellent host1 Fully equiped with weekly clening service. Perfect location and short walking distance to Grocery stores, Trains and Ferry. Host provided helpful information on area and transportation. Well eqiped kitchen with washer and dryer. Very clean and all furniture and beds were comfortable. Definately would stay here again

Beautiful apartment in old town Como

Absolutely enjoyed our five days and nights in old Como. This part of Como is so quaint and full of restaurants, boutiques, narrow roads, and alleyways. Everything was so clean. The lake area was undergoing renovations which was a disappointment.

Comfortable and convenient

3 bedroom/2 bathroom large apartment. 2 A/C’s (for bedrooms and living area) that worked well. A washer AND a dryer) not a single unit washer-dryer) … it’s was nice to catch up on laundry. Secure building. Good communication with the owner and easy check in and check out. The apartment is about a 5-8 minute walk (flat) to the main square and lots of cafes, restaurants and bars. There are also a few cafes nearby the apartment (1-2 minutes). The ferry ticket office and piers are in the same area as the main square. The Funicolare to Brunate is another 5 minute walk. Train stations are close by too (walkable depends on how much luggage you have).

A Dream Vacation in Como, Italy

First and most importantly, Sveva was an amazing host! She kept in contact with me on What's APP. She is the kind of host you may want to invite for coffee. The apartment is very close to the train station and at the edge of town in Como. It had an elevator but some stairs up to it, so this may not be a place for everyone. A wheelchair guest would not be able to get up to it. Unfortunately, this is the case in much of Europe. The apartment had plenty of room for 6 and even had a full kitchen, dining area and washer/ dryer. It was very clean. It was stocked with everything you would need to cook or have coffee. The new architecture and decor was really lovely. Sveva has a gem of an apartment to use as a VRBO property. Como is an amazing town on the water. I may have to go and stay again!

Great Value / Super Location / Clean / Safe / Wonderful Host

We stayed at Sveva's wonderful property on the edge of the historic district of Como for a week. It was a multi-generational experience including grandparents, parents and 3 teenage girls. The unit is a true 3 bedroom / 2 bath floor plan, a large family rm, large dining area, fully equipped kitchen and a laundry rm. If you have a vehicle you will find a gated space for your one car...a major plus in the historic area. The property was very clean, everything works and the unit is large enough to provide space for everyone! The property is the only unit on the top floor (4th) and this part needs explanation; the first 3 floors are serviced by an elevator which you ride to the 3rd floor and then go up a spiral staircase to your unit on the 4th floor. It could be a challenge carrying luggage up or down those stairs...but the unit is worth it. We were the grandparents in this mix so we didn't have to move any luggage around anyway! Everything you came to see in Como and beyond is within easy walking distance to the ferry, private boat tours up and down the lake, train stations, restaurants...you name it! The biggest compliment you can give a VRBO property is whether you would rent it again. YES we would without hesitation. It met all of our expectations and Sveva the owner was wonderful! My name is Sveva and I live in the beautiful and romantic historic center of Como.
Some years ago, me and my brother, the architect, decided to renovate the attic above my flat into a modern and exclusive penthouse and now I'm very proud of the result.
I take care of the house in every little detail because I want my guests feel like home.
Decorating homes has always been my favorite hobby and my passion.
I am sure that you will have a unique experience in Como !

' I must thank Sveva for giving me the chance to do what I like best. As an architect I was so happy to give her place a new life. Beauty is in simple things. The site had such strong vibrations and history that only with a plain and fair approach it could turn out in a modern yet friendly house: a perfect place to live. Now that my job is done I can tell that her concern in giving the best she can when it comes to please her guests suits perfectly with the image I had in mind when the project started. I would recommend this solution because it was intended to give friendly and familiar feelings and my sister is working hard to make it concrete.'
