🏕 Welcome to Denton Go Cabins

A cozy, private cabin inside Denton Hill State Park, designed to be your easy basecamp for outdoor adventure and Dark Skies nights.

🛏 Sleeping Setup (Sleeps 7)
- Master bedroom: Queen bed
- Guest bedroom: Twin-over-full bunk + Twin-over-twin bunk (sleeps 5 — perfect for kids or an extra crew)
Comfortable beds, clean linens, and plenty of room for families or small groups.

🛋 Living Area
- Comfortable seating
- TV with streaming apps
- Cozy cabin atmosphere for movie nights or board games

🍳 Kitchen + Dining
- Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, and dishware
- Coffee setup for easy mornings
- Dining space for meals, cards, and planning the next day

- Note: grills are not permitted in the state park, but the fire pit includes a grill surface for cooking

Up to 2 house-trained dogs are welcome (no cats or other pets). No pet fee — just please follow the house rules for cleanup.

🌌 Dark Skies + Easy Day Trips
Cherry Springs is about 20–25 minutes away, with additional parks and trails nearby for daytime exploring.

🚙 UTV / ATV Access (Important Info)
The UTV featured in our photos is not included with the cabin rental. If you're interested in riding, UTVs can be rented just a short walk from the cabin through our local partner, Denton Go, located right inside the state park.

Seasonality matters here:
- The PA trail system is open Memorial Day Weekend → last weekend in September
- UTV rentals are only available during this window
- Trails are closed the rest of the year due to weather and land management

Bringing your own machine?
- Totally fine to bring your own UTV/ATV
- Just note:
– Trail access follows the same seasonal schedule
– Outside of that window, you'll need to trailer to approved riding areas

We had an amazing experience staying at this cabin! It was exceptionally clean, very well stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Every detail made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We truly appreciated how well the cabin was maintained and felt right at home. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

The cabin is everything you want when vacationing away from home. I would highly recommend it for families with kids or just a couples getaway. The cabin is easy to locate and the surrounding area is clean and well maintained. Josh was our contact and his customer service was top-notch…if you should have any questions he’ll respond immediately.

We loved our stay at the cabin and will definitely be back. The weather didn’t behave so no star gazing occurred. We went to the Lumber Museum across the street and that was very interesting. Our dogs loved their long walks around the property. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

The cabin was great! It was clean, well-maintained, comfortable with everything you need. Towels, linens, WIFI and welcome basket was a plus! Cabin was centrally located for quick access to some great fly fishing! Highly recommended, thank you!!!!

I would like to give this property as many stars as we was able to see …. A MILLION STARS!!!! Everything was perfect. You can tell our host has pride in his property and wants his guest to thoroughly enjoy their stay! Perfect location for stargazing! Loved the Lumber museum right across the street and my adult kids were able to rent an ATV just steps away from the cabin! A million stars!!!!

Wonderful Mountain Get Away

The mountain cabin exceeded our expectations. Very clean, nicely decorated and we could bring our beloved poodle/bichon. All amenities were exactly as described. A welcome basket of goodies was a nice touch. So relaxing under the starry sky. Convenient private parking, a great fire pit and the wood and fire starters were provided. Adirondack chairs around the fire pit and rockers on the private covered porch for morning coffee which was provided. Convenient to Cherry Springs State Park, PA Grand Canyon and Wellsboro as well as many other parks and museums. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special cabin in the PA mountains.

Great place, beware of “air conditioned”!

Everything was great. I’d probably go again. The thing that misled me is that it is advertised as “air conditioned” (which is something that I looked for because my son and I are both usually warm) but then the AC is only in the living area and you are told to close the doors to the bedrooms so that the air conditioner isn’t overdone. Well, I need air conditioning to sleep if it’s warm! We were fortunate to be there when it wasn’t super warm. But, it would’ve been nice to have fans in the bedrooms because they were still a little warm for us.

That truly means a lot to us. I did want to clarify one point you mentioned: we don’t ask guests to keep bedroom doors closed, and I’m not sure where that may have come from. The minisplit is designed to cool the entire cabin, and guests are absolutely welcome to leave bedroom doors open to allow for better airflow. During your stay, we reached out a couple of times to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly, and your only response was that “all is good.” We’re always happy to help address any concerns in real time, and we would’ve loved the opportunity to offer suggestions to make you and your son more comfortable. That said, your idea of adding fans to the bedrooms is a great one. While space is a bit limited, we’re looking into options and really appreciate the recommendation.
