Nice Place, Disappointing Experience – Would Not Stay Again with Casago Managed Property
The location and resort itself are nice, but our overall experience was frustrating due to the management situation. We didn’t realize when booking this place that the property was managed by Casago (Owner’s Choice), which is not directly with Las Palomas — and that made a big difference.You don’t check in at Las Palomas; instead, you have to go off-site to the Casago office. From there, communication and service felt disjointed. For example, we checked in around 3:00pm and were told we’d receive our room code by 4:00pm. After no update, we had to call Casago, and finally received the code at 4:25pm. Not a great way to start a vacation.Basic amenities were missing — no beach towels in the room as promised, no daily housekeeping (just a visit to drop off trash bags and laundry detergent), and we had to do our own laundry for fresh towels. The hot water heater wasn’t even turned on when we arrived, which we discovered when trying to shower after the pool.To make matters worse, Las Palomas staff won’t assist you if you're staying under Casago, since you're given a different wristband. Any issue requires contacting Casago and waiting for someone to come from off-site.In short, we would not stay here again unless the reservation is managed directly by Las Palomas. Renting through an off-site company like Casago really took away from what could’ve been a great stay.
