Welcome to Huck's Hideaway, your peaceful mountain retreat in Maine's beautiful Rangeley region. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and endless outdoor recreation, this cozy cabin is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories.

Start your mornings with coffee on the porch as the sun rises over the mountains. Spend your days boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, ATV riding, exploring scenic back roads, or discovering the charm of nearby Rangeley. In the evening, gather around the fire pit, watch the stars come out, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Western Maine mountains.

Inside, you'll find rustic charm combined with modern comforts, including a fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, and comfortable accommodations for families, couples, or friends.

Located just a short drive from the Rangeley Lakes, Saddleback Mountain, local restaurants, shops, and outdoor adventures, Huck's Hideaway is the perfect home base for experiencing everything the area has to offer.

Please note: We are NOT on the snowmobile or ATV trail. However, the trail is only 1 mile from the cabin. You are more than welcome to stay, but you will have to trailer to hop on the amazing trails Rangeley has to offer!

Huck’s Hideaway was a truly special place to stay. The cabin has so much warmth and charm, and the beautiful rural setting gave us the peaceful Maine experience we were hoping for. There’s something wonderful about being surrounded by nature, away from the noise and crowds, and simply enjoying time together as a family. We’re grateful we had the chance to experience this little piece of Maine and would happily stay again.

What a beautiful and cozy little cabin! It was the perfect setup for my wife, three daughters and myself. Such a beautiful view and it's so serene. Highly recommended for a getaway spot!

This cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed and more! We were visiting for a small memorial service at Smalls Falls and had family traveling almost 5 hours. It was a perfect spot. The host was also very responsive.

The cabin was exactly as described. I received a helpful message the day I was to arrive with more specific instructions that helped us find the cabin easier. The location was very remote and quiet which we loved! The house was beautiful and there were no issues during our stay. Highly recommend for a remote quiet getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! Owners were very welcoming,helpful and communicative. We look forward to coming back next yr for a longer stay. My only recommendation would be to leave somr salt out for the stairs out front and outback as they get very icey.

Huck’s Hideaway was just as promised! The cabin is warm and inviting and easy to settle into. Easy access to the amenities of the surrounding area without being in town. Very first impressions, pretty spectacular driving up the driveway! Then...we met the neighbor mad Larry. Lol turns out he wasn't so bad. The place was almost perfect, a few minor things, not even worth mentioning. The host was very kind, and I will say we all enjoyed our time here.

I chose this neighborhood for Huck’s Hideaway because it offers the best of both worlds. Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful setting, it feels like a true retreat where you can slow down and soak in the beauty of nature. At the same time, you’re just minutes from hiking trails, sparkling lakes, and some of the best skiing in Maine. It’s close to everything, yet far enough removed that you feel completely away from it all—a balance I fell in love with and knew would be perfect for guests, too.
