Perfect location

The location was perfect! It was poolside and beachfront and only a short walk to the beach. The property itself was a bit dated, but clean and well appointed with kitchen supplies and comfortable furniture. We had a restful stay, once we got the door lock figured out with the correct entry code. The owner was quick to get back with us when we contacted him. Overall, I would go back.

Great for the Price

Great location, quiet spot, not fancy but great price, so no high expectations. If you had kids, you can't beat this spot with the pool right out the door. We loved our nightly beach walks. Had a lovely dinner at Commanders restaurant, not far from this condo. The only problem we had was the wifi was on then off, then on. I was working remote, so this was a problem for me. We finally figured out that the bedroom light switch had to be in the on position for it to work. We were turning the modem off via the light switch and were not aware. Once that was figured out, all was good. We would come back.

Very nice stay for a 3 day vacation

Me and my husband of 40 years stayed 3 days here at Beachers Lodge, very nice , only thing was it was a bit small, not too bad mainly the bathroom. The couch did have a bad odor to it, may need cleaned, other than that we would most likely stay again one day soon.

Great property!

Ray was great through our whole trip. The property is older, but well maintained and QUIET. I love the fact that I walk out of the patio to the pool deck and can still see the beach. I'll be back!

Great Host - Needs Changes

The view is wonderful! The host is truly great. The floors needed washing. There was no non-slip mat in the extremely slippery bathtub. I slipped in it and broke part of my pelvis. I spent the next 15 days in hospitals. There were a few kitchen items that I thought were necessities and weren’t there. There are only two washers and dryers for a huge complex. The one on our floor was in a big closet. When you opened the dryer it hit the wall! We saw the cleaning lady only once and feel some cleaning details needed addressing. I made our host aware of the shortcomings and hope he takes my comments to heart and improves those things. If you look past these items you can enjoy a beautiful pool and ocean beach that can’t be beat. Don’t think you’re on the street level, just because you’re on the first floor. There are many steps to navigate. A ramp is available but there are limited handicapped parking spaces near it.

Property was perfect for our visit to the area. Walk-out to the pool plus gate access to the ocean beach. We enjoyed daily walks watching surfers. An address on the resort sign would have been helpful as GPS on the barrier island is not dependable.

Good location. Easy to find & easy access.

Some difficulty with communication due to some unfortunate circumstance for the host, but it all worked out well for us. The view and pool location were very nice.

Perfect quiet location

My spouse and I prefer quiet vacation spots. This one fits the bill. Lots of room to walk on the beach, which was just steps from the unit. Very little ambient noise from other guests. And Crescent Beach is not a super busy community with a lot of traffic. The unit itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d stay here again.

Great location

This location is excellent. The beach access and pool access were incredible. We were able to see a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral one night. It is close to historic downtown but far enough away to really relax. It was a perfect room for us.

Great beach location

This was a cute room. Everything we needed for our stay. Could walk directly out to pool and beach. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. The only real reason that i didn't give it 5 stars was the room just needed "some love". The nit-picky things like corners, cupboards , etc. Instead of replacing fridge they tryed to paint it type things. Overall, it was a nice place for the price. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I have lived overseas and love traveling and exploring. My favorite city is Paris and my most enjoyable vacation was Playa De Ingles in the Canary Islands.

I have some vintage motorcycles and an old scooter I use to get around town. I studied Philosophy in college but have always worked in sales and marketing. I've worked in the Middle East and all over America, and even lived for a short while in Europe.

We love St Augustine's European feel, easy access to beaches, and the excellent dining. We hope you will too! Let us know how we can help and we will do our best.

If you would enjoy a very relaxed atmosphere and vacationing on the beach but away from the crowds, this is the place for you. This is a nice place to stay that is not at all fussy or shi-shi, let down your hair put up your feet and relax.
