Discover the beauty of Gardiner from this 2-bedroom apartment above a country store in an 1880's center hall colonial. This cozy colonial space features 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed with a second twin trundle, perfect for a small group of guests with pets welcome too. A full kitchen with all the amenities if you enjoy cooking or just to make a quick breakfast before you go out to explore. Relax in the country but still have amenities like WiFi & AC. All linens and towels are included with the convenience of a country store below you for any grab and go items you may need to purchase. Two covered porches allow you to relax outside anytime you would like. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our apartment.
Out the front door are restaurants, shops, food trucks and the Wallkill Rail Trail which has 22 miles of trail. Hike or bike the trail into New Paltz to visit the sites in the village or continue on into the small charming village of Rosendale. Drive 10 minutes to hike Minnewaska Sate Park or visit famous Mohonk Mountain House nearby. Like wineries? Follow the Shawangunk Wine Trail to visit all 13 of them if you'd like. Many local farmstands surround us to get the freshest produce & flowers. Lots of events take place here in the Hudson Valley all year long so there is always something for everyone to do.

We stayed at this lovely historic apartment while visiting our daughter who recently moved to Poughkeepsie. She stayed one night with us and loved it. The space was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog. Entry was easy, even w/ the emporium closed. Ingrid allowed us to enter at noon (her suggestion), which was much appreciated after taking the overnight flight from Seattle to New York. It was nice to have a nap in a quiet spot before heading out. The location was great - completely quiet at night, 2 1/2 miles from a grocery store, less than 6 miles from New Paltz and only 11 miles from Poughkeepsie. We never drove far for local and historic sites. There were many thoughtful details. Gourmet snacks for us. And, Ingrid was so gracious and hospitable w/ respect to our 1 year old puppy. We arrived to a comfy little dog bed w/ the sweetest dog toy and dog bowls. Our dog was so excited! The apartment was comfy and cozy, with sweet details. Gardiner is such a cute village w/ antique stores and restaurants within walking distance. Per her recommendation, we had breakfast at Cafe Mio, just across the streets. Yummy! We’d definitely stay again when in the area.

Very clean, well kept and charming apartment. Host was very nice and quickly responded to our questions. It was a perfect location for us. We would definitely stay there again if traveling to the area.

Charming apartment in great location! Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the rail trail. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. Looking forward to our next visit. Owner was delightful!

Perfect skydiving location

Great little gem in the heart of Gardiner. Easy access to all the little shops and very close to the drop zone for skydiving. Ingrid and her daughter were very friendly and welcoming and always greeted us with a smile
