This was an amazing stay! The courtyard was perfect for coffee and reading. Close to Main and still super private. We will return!

We Love This Place

We stayed at El Jefe on our first anniversary in November of 2002 and we are so grateful to have recently spent our 17th anniversary at El Jefe again this past weekend. We truly love this place and it holds a special place in our heart.

FOR THE MOST PART IT WAS PERFECT. COULD USE A MORE COMFORTABLE SEATING OPTION FOR WATCHING TV INSTEAD OF JUST THE BED OR THE UPRIGHT CHAIRS. VERY NICE AND ANTIQUE CABIN. LOVE THE JET TUB!! FRONT DOOR ALSO NEEDS ATTENTION BEFORE IT COMES APART. 10/10 WOULD STAY AGAIN.

Amazing expierence. .

Felt like I went back in time to simpler times. So cozy and so relaxing. Loved the house! So beautiful and the bed was so comfortable!. Recommending to everyone I know! And will definitely rent again!!

Very cute place!

We enjoyed our time in Fredericksburg and the house was great! The only thing the house was missing was a shower. We did not have an issue with bugs like the past review.

Concerning a shower, the whirlpool tub does feature a handheld shower but I do see how some guests could desire a separate walk-in shower. Romantic getaway

I stayed here with my husband for a ten-year anniversary trip. El Jefe's Casa was cozy and unique! Loved having the little private courtyard with a fountain where we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. The two-story format was unique as well. Very comfy, lots of privacy, and within walking distance of Main Street attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Very beautiful old world place. Felt like I was in Europe especially because the wet weather. Only drawback was the tub. Would've preferred to have a shower.

Nice litte place

El Jefe was a charming little place that had unique features. Tucked away at the back of the property, it was pretty quiet. I wish the TV had an arm on it allowing you to view it from the bed, and the construction that began on Monday morning directly behind us was frustrating, but other than that, it was a nice getaway.

El Jeffe

The El Jeffe was awesome. Once got onto the property it felt like being in an old village. Very cool compared to a traditional hotel or home. The room was clean and AC was cold which is a must.
