Pool Heating Notice:
The pool is equipped with a residential heater; however, please note that residential pool heaters are only designed to effectively heat and maintain water temperature when outdoor temperatures are consistently above 65°F. During colder weather, especially below this threshold, the heater may run but will not be able to maintain the desired temperature. Pool temperature is also dependent on overall weather conditions, including cold fronts and wind.

Our annual BFF trip with friends and we loved this house!! It had everything you need, plenty of room, very clean, pool was kept up nice with loungers, nice access from the canal for the boat we brought. Eating places were excellent and near by. Definitely a "10" on our charts and coming back here!!Icing on the cake was our host, Kelly, that kept us informed and replied quickly on txts, service with a smile. Especially booking places online, she deserves a raise.Gina V

Beautiful home on a channel where we could watch manatees swim all day long. Patio furniture was plentiful. Beds and living room furniture were comfortable. Pool was beautiful. We used the grill daily and the kitchen was well equipped. The full wall sliding door was a pleasant surprise— we watched the football games from the pool! The community was safe and walkable. The property manager was very responsive as we found pool floaty, fishing pole and bikes in the garage and they quickly responded giving us permission to use. We did have to purchase tire pump and chain lubricant for the bikes and hooks etc for the pole but small price to pay for added adventure. The island is quiet but was fun to explore. A short bike ride to Phuzzy’s, a low key bar with live music. Fresh seafood market close by with great selection. We rode bikes to a nature preserve, explored the cute shops in Matlacha, the pier at Tarpon lodge is perfect spot for sunset viewing. Jug creek fish house was our favorite; a 20 minute drive to the north end of island but it’s right on the water with open air bar and full restaurant, live music, lots of picnic tables and seating, fire pits for chilly evenings. We were told “best meal you’ll ever eat on a paper plate” and that’s true! Plus they have fresh market right there. 10/10 and would love to visit again!

We had a great stay at this property and would absolutely consider coming back. The house itself was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for our family. We especially loved the large sliding door to make the pool almost part of the house itself. From the layout to the overall atmosphere, it really felt like a home away from home.The location was also excellent and made it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. The area guide the host provided made it easy to know where we should check out for dinner each night as well. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better.The only downside during our stay was the WiFi, which was fairly unreliable at times, and the TVs were a bit finicky to use. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but something to be aware of if your family requires internet use after a long day of other activities. Overall, though, we truly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
