The kitchen was poorly appointed. It was smaller than the pictures led to believe and there are no true ‘bedrooms’. It was fine for the vacation and worked well for our family.

Perfect location relative to the beach. Just was extremely nice and gave tour before leaving. Everything was clean and stocked up. Great place for kids 6 because stairs are steep.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood very close to beach/ocean & harbor, short walk to Balboa ferry and 5 min drive from Lido or the Wedge. Clean/comfortable home well suited for family of 5…spiral staircase to main bedroom kept us on our toes and kitchen could use a little better spice rack/cooking supplies but overall a great spot and great value all things considered.

Great spot for our quick trip. Loved the proximity to the bay and the beach. Easy communication with Kevin, really nice guy. Place was clean and beds were comfy.

Best thing about this property was its location! Half a block from the Harbor beach and three blocks from the ocean beach was very convenient.The unit itself was OK but strangely laid out. The "front" door was actually entering from the alley and you had to walk through a 1st floor bedroom to get to the stairs leading to the 2nd floor main living (so whoever was sleeping downstairs had to be up before anyone else could enter/leave the unit.)The "Patio" was actually a small porch facing the alley with a view of a dirt backyard across the alley. This place would be OK for 2 adults w/ older kids - we had a 2 & 4 year old so the steep stairs were a challenge.Host was responsive, unit was clean & all appliances worked. There was no grill or area for outdoor cooking or eating.

We loved this location, close to both beach and bay. Easily walkable to restaurants. Comfortable stay, with separate sleeping areas. Would stay again!

Mom’s’ Getaway

Great location as it is blocks from bay, ocean and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and area was amazingly quiet. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful or active stay.

Great location, a cute little getaway. Wish it had bikes, but other than that luxury, made our little getaway an easy travel experience.

The house was very clean. There were tourist shops close and some really good restaurants, definitely recommend billy's. The beach was within walking distance, but crossing the street was scary sometimes. The host was quick to respond with any messages. The beds could have been more comfortable
