We had such a wonderful stay here! Of course, the porch is the star of this property, but we felt right at home inside. The house was so clean and the host supplied everything we needed. Communication was great and I never felt out of the loop. The beds were so comfy! We would love to come back.

We have came to PA for the sight & sound on several occasions. This was by far the greatest stay we have had. This place was wonderful. The owners checked in with us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. However, this place was so nice there wasn’t anything we could’ve needed. I highly recommend this place. As long is it’s not when I’m coming. We’ll be back!

What a wonderful mini vacation we had. The Riverbank Lodge was Excellent. Marlena did a Great job with guiding us through the very simple check-in experience. The house was very clean and cozy. The space was perfect for three couples to have plenty of elbow room. We really enjoyed the open deck on the back of the house with a view of the river, and the perfect time of the year to take advantage of the propane burner. The location is central to all the Lancaster-Amish events, restaurants, shows and shopping. We are already looking forward to next year. Thank you for a worry free weekend.

Cute place, would stay again. The fireplace wasn't working, which was a little disappointing. Only real issue was the outlets in the kitchen and living room, which crackle/spark when you plug things in, so we kept everything unplugged while we were there just to be safe.

Thanks so much for staying with us — we’re glad you enjoyed the home and would come back! The outdoor propane fire feature can be affected by wind, and we did share that during your stay. We’re always happy to help troubleshoot in real time when anything comes up. Regarding the outlets, we take safety seriously and haven’t had prior issues reported, but we’ll be checking everything to be sure. Thanks again for the feedback!

The host demonstrated excellent responsiveness, and the facility maintained a high standard of cleanliness. Its central location provided convenient access to a supermarket, and we enjoyed proximity to Sight and Sound and Intercourse. Our evening was enhanced by the deck and fire pit. Country Riverfront Getaway

Morning coffee on Conestoga Creek. Peaceful. The house is nestled in a wooded dell, surrounded by Amish farm country. So lovely and cozy. The host provided many little details to make the stay carefree, restful, and convenient. Good for country walks, outdoor dining on the water, and minutes from local tourist sights. I would absolutely stay here again.
