Great Family Vacation!

We stayed at the property this past July and it was wonderful! Very spacious home, great pool, fantastic location to beach as well as walking distance to restaurants. Plenty of parking. Communication with property managment was easy and responsive. Highly recommend this beach house!

Could be cleaner, but a great week

Floors were sandy, our 3 year old found pills under a bed, one pillow had blood stains, but otherwise a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Location was perfect, pool was excellent, outdoor shower came in handy.

Surfside escape

The house appeared just as listed. The location was perfect just a short walk across the street to the beach with a nice pool with plenty of seating for our group of 9. A few restaurants and beach bars within walking distance or a short drive away. We loved it. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location!

It was a pleasure staying at "Paradise". The owner went over and above in providing EVERYTHING you could want to enjoy an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious, and immaculate home. The location was perfect with a gorgeous beach just across the street and a short walk to restaurants. The large heated salt water pool was awesome and the comfortable porch was wonderful to enjoy as we started and ended our days. The host (Kim) was excellent. Our family enjoyed an amazing vacation and we definitely would love to return again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Great location!

House is conveniently located to 2 entrances to the beach making it an easy trek with kids! Also enjoyed the convenience of having a pool with the house. Checking in/out process is a bit antiquated. Communication with property management is delayed over the weekend, but they will respond/reach out the upcoming business day. Overall a pleasant stay and would consider booking again!

Great house and location

This house was as great as advertised. We had a 3 generations of family and friends together for a week. House worked great for all of us. Pool was fantastic. Beach is just across the street - close enough to walk barefoot! House was clean and well stocked. I had a few questions prior to check in and management company was responsive. All around great experience.

Awesome House

This house didn’t disappoint at all. Kitchen was fully stocked, house was clean, multiple seating. The only thing was the coffee pot wasn’t working so we went and bought a new one and left it there. Our contribution to this fantastic place. Quiet and safe area yet close enough for activities and shopping. We had a great time and we will be back to Surfside for sure. The only thing that would have made it more accommodating would have been a bathroom by the pool but we got our workout in with the stairs😉. Very beautiful home. We enjoyed our vacations.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In a nutshell: we all want to come back! The house was beautiful, the location was perfect, and the people at Southern Coast Vacations were wonderful! we had spent the last 30 years renting in Myrtle Beach from a private owner and were hesitant about renting from a third party, but Southern Coast has changed our minds; we even like the Surfside community better than Myrtle/North Myrtle! My only complaint (so tiny!) is that the property needs more kitchen towels/wash clothes (we are neat-freaks). We all voted and want to come back next year, but instead of just one week, the entire family wants 2 weeks.

Not recommended - Not Clean - Mold - Lack of communication

Not ready when communicated. Had to wait approx 90 mins to get into the house past the time they said it would be ready. Mold in the washing machine, mold on several of the dishes, and just very dirty overall. Stayed in many vacation houses over the years and this one by far takes the most unclean award. The management company Southern Coast Vacations, was not available when they said they would be, not in the office and took several days to follow up when you call or email concerns/questions. Poor communication and just a negative experience overall on this one. NOT recommended.

Our office proudly hosts a 24/7 after hours call line as well as availability during normal business hours including weekends. We received no communication about their concerns until AFTER the stay was completed, and at that time they threatened us with multiple negative reviews, so this review was expected, unfortunately. This house has hosted years of amazing 5 star vacations with minimal complaints and will continue to do so. Please reach out to us with any questions about booking or consult the many other positive reviews!

Good Location/Dirty House

Location is awesome-steps from the beach. Great size pool and kitchen well equipped. Management- Information wasn’t consistent in emails, welcome letter or on refrigerator. Consistency would be nice so tenants have clear expectations. Kim told us we would receive text when unit was ready. No text. We were in the area since 2:30. It was after 4 so we went to the office (they say open till 5). Doors were locked. Keys in lockbox. Saturday arrival we found: A toilet that wouldn't flush and had a bowel movement in it so a flush was needed. You have to make your own beds and a fitted sheet was stained. When emptying our coolers into the refrigerator we found crumbs and spilled liquid, etc.,not clean. The pool was filled with sand. We called management and got "after hours" line. We were told that none of those issues were "emergencies" so the earliest those would be taken care of would be Monday. After traveling all day we had to clean, wash and fix. We fixed the toilet so it was usable. The rest we cleaned and washed. The pool was cleaned on Monday. We have stayed in many areas.If there were issues upon arrival, they were always taken care of immediately. Other issues on arrival: Bathroom rugs dirty, black smudges on white shower curtain, dirty grill and no tools to clean it, front porch table filthy, floors filthy -made your feet/socks black, food still on crock pot. Is it too much to expect a clean property upon arrival or at least a timely fix to issues found?

There's a lot that could be said here, but I'll summarize. We attempted to call you several times during your stay to get details and schedule a time for us to stop by, but we were never able to reach you. We're sorry that there was sand in the pool, but unfortunately houses on/near the beach have a habit of getting sandy quickly even when cleaned multiple times weekly. We've made the cleaner aware of the issues you listed and they were shocked. They would have loved the opportunity to correct it. We'd love to discuss this with you in more detail. Awesome Vacation!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our family's second time returning to "Paradise" for our spring vacation week at this wonderful home. We arrived to an immaculately clean home with a lovely layout and with every amenity you could possibly want to enjoy your home away from home. It is the perfect location with access to a gorgeous sandy beach directly across the street and a beautiful large heated pool in the back yard along with a large grill. We enjoyed the lovely front porches where we started our days with breakfast and ended with relaxing evening conversations. Easy half mile walk to the new Surfside Pier and a choice of restaurants. Kim at Southern Coast Vacations Management Company was superb providing us with very helpful detailed information from check in/out directions to answering any questions we may have had promptly and always pleasantly and professionally. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable vacation and certainly highly recommend this property for a wonderful vacation experience. Thank you very much Kim! Wonderful home away from home!

The house was very clean, there were plenty of bathrooms, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that was inconvenient was the fact there was no lockbox on the house and the key had to be picked up at the rental office. We flew into Myrtle Beach and did not rent a car:Otherwise a great home and a perfect location!

Paradise Indeed

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Paradise Rental was very nice and welcoming! The house was very clean, with exception of the oven, which needs a thorough cleaning. The grill is not functioning properly and would get above 250 degrees with burners on and several parts are rusted. However, the location and house were perfect and we really enjoyed our vacation! Yes, I would rent again!
