A comfortable, roomy house 🏠 helped us enjoy our stay!

Perfect beach getaway!!!!

4 Shrimp and a Crab was the perfect beach getaway. The home looks exactly like the pictures. We were close to a lot of attractions, had a private pool and was walking distance to the beach. The added amenity was the use of the golf cart. The host checked in on us when we arrived to see if we had a questions and to let us know that we could reach out if needed. Of course, we didn’t need them because the place was perfect. We will definitely use them again. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!!!!

We enjoyed our time as a family at your wonderful home. Plenty of space for everyone to be together and also have their own personal space. Having the pool just steps away was wonderful and the elevator was a godsend. The beach was only a short ride away with the provided golf cart! Wish we could have stayed another week. Thank you!

Great house, great location!!

We had a truly wonderful stay at 4 shrimp and a crab! It’s in the perfect location, just a short walk to the beach and having the golf cart made getting there even easier. The pool was great! All the little extras were provided, beach chairs, pool floats, sand toys and bikes. We would absolutely return and would recommend this house to anyone.

Clean, roomy and close to the beach

Property was well kept, clean and quite comfortable. The walk to the beach was easy. The pool was so clean and refreshing. The golf cart came in handy more than once and the elevator made the unloading and loading a piece of cake. We had a great time and recommend this property to anyone considering Surfside Beach.

Perfect beach vacation spot

This was our 5th stay in Surfside, and 4 Shrimp and a Crab is our favorite place to stay!! The house is so beautiful and there is a ton of space for everyone. The pool was a star feature for us, as well as the use of a golf cart with pre-paid beach front parking! We were only a few blocks from the beach (3-4) but when you have to haul equipment, the golf cart was a life saver! We ate almost every meal on the balcony because the ceiling fan and breeze made it all so perfect. We will always come back to this house!!

Fun famiky week

Fun beach week. On the beach all day. Great restaurants for lunch sn dinner, enjoyed trips to Drippys ice cream on 17 and the pier. Putt-putt. ED venture at Market Commons, shopping at Tanger Outlets and Tomlinsons and Marshalls.

Awesome and Wonderful

This house was very beautiful, clean, well equipped with anything you might need. Golf cart was a lifesaver and we were very happy with the elevator. Best of all was the owner’s hospitality and care for their guests!

Comfortable and cozy

Great place for a family vacation. We had enough space for everyone to spread out and relax to themselves as well as enough room to sit together in the living room or dining room. Pool was a plus. Very warm and enjoyable. Beaches were very close to walk or drive in the provided golf cart. Love it

August 2024 Short Stay

The property was very clean and well kept. Nine adults were comfortable. We were a little disappointed with the view out back to the other properties, but obviously the owner cannot change that aspect. The complimentary golf cart was a big plus to move us and chairs to the beach, or nearby restaurants. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

A Great Week at the Beach!

This was our 2nd time staying at 4 Shrimp and a Crab, and it did not disappoint. We love the easy access to the beach and the amazing comfort of the pool. The house has so many nice extras, from a few spices in the cabinet, to lots of toys, to plenty of coffee filters! The house was a great launching pad for us to visit Murrell’s Inlet or to venture a little further to Mt. Atlanticus in Myrtle Beach for mini-golf. The many bedrooms with their own baths made it easy for us to accommodate everyone from kids to grandparents! Kathy and Steve are responsive and accommodating too—we definitely recommend their home!

Fun in the sun!

4 Shrimp and a Crab provides a great home base to enjoy the beach and pool and all the amenities of Surfside. We especially enjoyed the boat tours of Murrell’s inlet and some exciting Putt-putt matches. The accommodations and pool were perfect for our family!

Wonderful!

If you are looking for a place for your large/extended family, this is the place!! The house is well stocked with essentials to get you started! All bedrooms have a bathroom and the golf cart is great to shuffle people and chairs to/from the beach. The pool was perfect for days when we needed a break from the surf and sand. The beach itself, even at the height of summer, was largely uncrowded. Great place for families!

BEST RENTAL HOME IN SURFSIDE

My friends and I stayed at 4 Shrimp and a Crab for my husband's 40th birthday. There are plenty of rooms and beds. The house is filled with everything you need. Kathy and Steve were available for any questions we had and even checked in with us to make sure everything was ok when we arrived. The beach was close and there are restaurants and bars within walking distance. You don't even have to walk though, because you have the golf cart! The boys had fun playing ping pong. I highly recommend this house. Already started spreading the word!

An Absolute Gem

This property was amazing. The description does it no justice. The property managers/owners were delightful to work with. They answered any and all questions immediately. Almost felt like we were talking to friends. The elevator made moving our luggage to the top for effortless. The golf cart made the proximity to the beach and taking items with you no problem at all. Even the neighbors and community were great. I cannot say enough great things about this experience. We definitely look forward to traveling back to the area again and hope this house is available. Thanks again for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Great Vacation

This was by far the best vacation home that I've ever stayed at. Everything was just beautiful and the owner was awesome. I recommend anyone to stay at this home. I'm definitely looking forward to returning next year.

Fabulous House

We totally enjoyed our stay! The house is wonderful and was very well suited for our family gathering of 7. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans etc. There were paper products to get us started and hand soap in all the bathrooms(5 full and one 1/2 bath). There were wraps and tin foil in the kitchen drawers. The house was very clean! The golf cart was a plus to scoot around the neighborhood. We loved the pool and parking was easy! The owners were very prompt answering any questions I had and very kindly checked in with us early in the week to make sure everything was to our liking and let us know to text them if we had any needs! Annual Family 4th of July Vacay

4 Shrimp and a Crab is short walk or golf cart ride to the beach, restaurants and shops. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with a relaxing private pool that we enjoyed very much. The house is modern, nicely decorated and clean. There are 4 en-suite bathrooms plus a full in the hall and a half bath downstairs. The kitchen has modern appliances and the cabinets are stocked. We had a wonderful vacation and this house was a perfect fit for our blended family vacation. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

We are a family of 5 who love our homes in Surfside Beach SC, “The Family Beach”. Throughout the years we vacationed at many different places along the coast of North and South Carolina. When we stayed at Surfside Beach, we knew this was the place we wanted to purchase a home at. It has so much more to offer than the other coastal areas we visited previously- it is a small family-oriented town only 2 miles long, that is clean, safe, and close to all the activities of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand, and is golf cart and pedestrian friendly so you can leave the car parked and just enjoy family time.

When we were younger, we stayed at many places, but they always seemed to let us down- issues with cleanliness, location, amenities, etc. We decided if we were ever fortunate enough to own a beach home that we, or people who visited our home, would never experience these issues. We offer everything possible at our homes. We handle all rentals on our own, being most rental companies are concerned with profit above guest satisfaction. We do everything possible to ensure a 5 star stay for our guests who often become friends over the years, and even have a local contact, who is a friend of ours, to help handle any unforeseen issues that one may incur during their stay.

We try to make sure our homes have everything that you would have at your personal home like a well-stocked kitchen and laundry, plus nice amenities while on vacation like private pools, hammocks, linens and house towels, beach toys and chairs, ping pong, and some of the homes also have elevators, and included golf carts. On top of all of that our places are clean, and none of them are very far from the beach, or shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

This home is in a fantastic location that is close to the beach, near several parks, and close to attractions and restaurants. House has numerous covered porches with rocking chairs that offer nice, relaxing views, and a nice private pool with pool area. A fantastic place to escape from the hectic pace of daily life and work for a week or two :)
