Other than the elevator constantly breaking and getting stuck for 30 minutes while they worked to get it open the stay was relatively nice. We did find one of the dinning chairs had a screw sticking up through the cushion. The condo is within walking distance of many stores and there is a pathway to the beach which was very nice. When we reached out to the host about the issues with the elevators they were unbothered that we had been stuck and had to carry all our luggage up to the 4th floor.

Overall, it’s a great condo. Very convenient location. It definitely should have been cleaner upon arrival. The beach was surprisingly crowded. I didn’t realize it was so close to a public beach access. Great value for the price point.

The condo was roomy for the five of us. However the condo could use a deep cleaning. Daughter found what she thought was a dead roach in her bath tub. Elevator was out of service a couple of days. Loved the access to the beach.

Great location and rental agency was great

The condo could use a good deep cleaning. It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped. The staff was very responsive and always helpful. Would definitely stay at ocean one again!

Icebreaker tournament

What a wonderful place to stay. Was as good as advertised. Only one issue would be if we could check in without stopping into the office. Besides that it was great. Would rent and recommend this place for sure.

HHI Retreat

Great stay and great location of property. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach, pool and coligny. There not downside was that the washing machine did not work. We submitted a message about it but did not hear back. Hope our message helps get it fixed for the next guest! Overall, very minor compared to the enjoyment we had.

Great Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the most part this is a great Condo. We had a few issues...one of the hinges to the closet in the King BR near dining table is stripped out. We tightened but it really needs to be fixed. Unit needs a broom. Coffee pot is adequate but doesn’t get very hot. Balcony furniture is very old with rusty tables. Balconies need to be cleaned thoroughly. Also unit could stand a very good cleaning all over, especially behind chairs, behind TV in Living Room (where something had spilled and dried on the wall) and under beds. There was an empty Gatorade container left under one of the beds from a previous guest. We love the spaciousness and location of this unit but want to bring these issues to your attention.

Disappointed

A number of concerns about the process and the property. 1. As previously raised I was quoted a $ amount in Cdn currency but charged that amount in US currency. VRBO promised me a call back regarding this but they have yet to contact me. This was 2 weeks ago. 2. We waited until after 5 PM at which time I contacted the rental office about the availability of the unit. I was to have been texted as soon as it was available. At that point they told me the unit had been available for some time and gave me the code over the phone. 3. Major construction occurring on the balconies on the pool side of the building. We were not informed of this until after our final payment was processed. I'm sure this work was planned months in advance but we were not advised. It was both noisy and dusty all week. 4. Unit was large and well laid out, and worked well for our family. Of note the ice maker was broken and leaked, the dishwasher doesn't work well, and the living room furniture is very tired and needs replacement. Overall given the price of the unit we were disappointed and felt it was not good value.

Seashore Vacations does not believe this review represents Ocean One 402, the owners, or our company accurately. Firstly, we are not responsible for the charge issue that this guest experienced. VRBO quoted in cdn currency, however we only handle US currency because we are an American based company. This currency issue is on VRBO's end and does not have anything to do with our company or the unit. We are also unsure what happened with the check-in process with this guest. Our receptionists do not recall the phone conversation. However, we do text or call guests immediately when a unit is ready unless there is an issue that needs to be handled before the guest checks in. We would not just hold a guest out of a clean and inspected unit without a reason. As for the construction, Seashore Vacations and the owners are kind of stuck in the middle. Ocean One is going through a major structural construction process that has been going on since January of this year. Unfortunately, the timeline of the project is vague and crews work January-May and September-December. However, unit 402 is currently not affected by the on-going project. There is a little bit of noise, but currently the crews are working on the opposite side of the building so the dust and noise is minimal. We are disappointed that this guest was not satisfied with their stay however, we do not believe this review accurately depicts the accommodations at 402 Ocean One.

Another good vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Ocean One location. The grounds and access to the beach are perfect for us. The condo had the space and bedrooms we needed. Loved the library of books. The price was good and it was clean with good towels and adequate bedding. It could use some updates in the beds. I don’t like the owners leaving personal things in the cabinets such as food items and stuff. I would like updates in the dishes, coffee cups and pots and pans. The washer and dryer were top of the line but had no instructions for operating. All and all it had what we needed and we were happy with it. If it were modernized I am sure the price would go up. If I were the owners I would definitely get new beds and mattresses and improve the bathrooms. We do need the walk in showers and two were appreciated. We love the Coligny area for walk ability and quick access to coffee, ice cream Piggly Wiggly, and some restaurants. We drive all over the island but it is conceivable to stay in this area and have almost everything you would need especially if the beach is your main love.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo unit 402 was great. If we had know the scheduled construction projects were underway we would have stayed elsewhere. Although we were given a discount to switch from our original unit, 402 did not have an ocean view. That was undesirable.

Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third year staying by Coligny Beach, and this was a great condo for my family of 4 plus both sets of grand parents. Pool was great, being beach side was wonderful, and the condo was well appointed. Only potential downside was the mattresses were not the most comfortable.
