Evocative! Great Family Vacation
We spent a lot of time considering where to go for our family vacation. After searching through the available listings, we came back to Villas Casa Loma for a special vacation with friends. Since we were a smaller group this time, we chose a different Suite.
We are glad we booked this property. Two huge bedrooms with bathrooms, walk-outs to terraces and views that would not quit! The huge kitchen complimented the large living & dining room with views of one of the large pools. The photos did not do the place proper justice!
Convenient to supermarket, beaches, shops, restaurants, water and land activities of every imaginable kind. Close by are some excellent medical facilities and dentists, plus a Spanish school.
One day we all went fishing on a charter in the morning and finished off the day with a zip line tour. Another day we did a sunset cruise on a catamaran. The ladies in our group enjoyed a day visit to a nearby spa. The guys loved the river cruise with its huge variety of wildlife. Birds, monkeys and turtles were a special joy. We were all fascinated by the butterflies and hummingbirds, too.
We were impressed by the variety of excellent restaurants. Some nights we just stayed home and barbequed fresh fish from a local source.
The staff was very helpful and tolerated our spotty Spanish with good humour.
We cannot thank Tom and Igor enough for their assistance in making arrangements for visits to a doctor on one occasion and to a dentist to relieve a toothache, and for setting us up with excellent tours. Wonderful services. Good tourist infrastructure.
A rental car is recommended, especially if you plan visits to National Parks in the area and generally exploring this magic land.
We will be back again!
