We loved the location and the fact that we could have our dog with us. Clean, pet friendly private cabin located near a pond and the sunrise trail. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved this little house! Near the Schoonic side of Acadia and a beautiful pond. 45 Minutes from the main attractions in Acadia. Clean, comfortable and just perfect. We highly recommend renting this beautiful little home.

Very clean cabin. We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. Had an issue with the ceiling fan, but it was resolved same day.

Clean, nicely decorated, lovely views, cozy.No closets, no hangers for one rod, no hooks on doors. Be sure to bring your own Kleenex and bath soap, neither is provided. Carpet free floors were perfect for a pet. A cute mat and two dog bowls were waiting at the door – a nice touch.We would certainly return for the fall foliage alone.

Thank you for your review, and we are so happy you would return! I hope you saw the large closet outside of the bathroom, with extra linens and hangers for your clothes? There is a spa blend of shampoo and body wash in the shower, and conditioner. Just turn the bottle, it says shampoo and body wash. We can look into hooks, I will ask the owner asap! We enjoyed our stay at Acadia Sunset cabins very much. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. We loved how private it was, and the tall ceilings made it feel much more spacious than it appears in pictures. We all loved the rain shower!!
