Perfect stay in El Médano

Everything was just right with the apartment. It was spacious enough for 4 adults and very well equipped. The position was just right too at the quieter end of the beach but close enough for an easy stroll to the centre and restaurants. Juan and Alicia were very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely like to return. Thank you .

What a lovely stay. Apartment was perfect. Fresh fruit in the basket on arrival. Juan and his wife are so nice. My flight was delayed but this was no problem for checking in. Lovely terrace furniture and well equipped kitchen. Some nice plants on terrace also. 10/10. Many thanks Juan, will definitely stay again.

Great location with lovely terrace

We stayed as a couple at this apartment for 2 weeks and everything was perfect for us. Juan, our host, was very helpful with great communication throughout our stay. There is everything in the apartment that you could possibly need to self cater. The oven and microwave looked like new and all the pots, pans, glasses, plates were all in great condition. The terrace is a lovely place to chill out in the afternoon as it’s a great sun trap and sheltered from the wind. We have stayed in El Médano lots of times but this was our favourite, due to the great location near to the beach and main plaza. I’m a runner and did a regular run from the apartment to the Arenas Del Mar hotel and back (5km) which was fantastic especially at low tide where running along the beach was possible. We used the parking space which we paid extra for but was well worth it. We would recommend a stay here and hope to return! Thank you Juan for being an excellent host!

Great Apartment with a great view

El Medano is a very nice place and this apartment is near the surf spot. perfect for everyone. The Apartment has a big balcony to relax. The furniture and the bathroom are not the newst but everything worked perfectly. The owner was very kind and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Nice apartment with large terrace on good location

We spent several weeks in Juan's nice apartment and we enjoyed our stay very much. We especially appreciated the large terrace, enabling us to enjoy the sun all day, from early in the morning. The location of the apartment is very good: close to the boulevard, the beach and the sea with the many wind surfers and kite surfers. Only a few minutes walk away is the center of El Medano with plenty restaurants and a supermarket. The livingroom is nice and large and the kitchen had modern equipment. The two bedrooms have beds with very good mattrasses. We like to thank Juan again and appreciate that he was very helpful during our stay.

Tolles Appartement, zweite Strandlinie

Das Appartement bietet Platz für 4 Personen. Die Qualität der Betten ist sehr gut. Alles war sauber und nett eingerichtet. Die Terrasse bietet den ganzen Tag Sonne und ist gut möbeliert. Eingeschränkter Meerblick weil man auf die Wand der Hauses in erster Linie schaut aber drüber hinaus das Meer sieht. Kontakt war sehr nett. Wir whattsappten als wir gelandet waren. Als wir ankamen warteten wir 10 min am Eingangstor und wurden anschließend herzlichst begrüßt und eingewiesen. Ein kleines Gastgeschenk wartete auf uns. An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank. Trotz des hohen Preises ist das Appartement sehr zu empfehlen. Für 4 Personen super ausgestattet und gutes Preisleistungverhältnis. Wir kommen wieder. Zu empfehlen ist der Duotone Surfverleih und das italienische Restaurant Rosmarin am Dorfplatz.

Ein sehr gutes Urlaubsdomizil

In der Wohnung mit ihrer herrlichen Terrasse und deren schönen Sitzgelegenheiten haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Sie ist voll ausgestattet und ansprechend möbliert und lässt nichts vermissen. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch El Medano als Urlaubsort hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist ein kleiner Urlaubsort mit einem schönen Strand und einer weitläufigen Promenade ( ohne Autoverkehr ) sowie einer Vielzahl von Restaurants/Cafe's und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ( u.a. ein sehr guter Schlachter). Außerdem fühlt man sich als Gast unter Spanier/Tinerfenos und nicht wie in den Hochburgen an der Südwestküste fast ausschließlich unter anderen Ausländern. Ein angenehmer und wohltuender Kontrast. Kein Massentourismus sondern eher wohltuender Individualurlaub. Der Fluglärm ist je nach Windrichtung punktuell und jeweils kurz gegeben, uns hat er aber nicht nachhaltig gestört. Wir können die Wohnung und den Ort nur empfehlen.

we had a great stay, the apartment is nice - and the terrace really perfect. it is really quiet and good to sleep. just some steps away is a small supermarket with fresh bread, restaurants, everything you need - did not need the car much. thanks for everything!

Zeer schoon, woonkamer precies grootbgenoeg, 2 fijne slaapkamer met bedden met erg fijne matrassen. Fijn balkon met schuin zicht op strand.

Lovely, modern, bright apartment with seaview

This is a lovely, modern apartment. The terrace has plenty of space for 2 loungers plus table and chairs. Despite it being a windy coastline it is still possible to sit outside and enjoy the sun - even in January - especially in the morning since the wind doesn't get up till around midday and the terrace faces the rising sun. There is an open plan lounge with 2 sofas, so plenty of space to relax inside, a dining and fully equipped kitchen area. 2 good spacious bedrooms both with large wardrobes and cupboard space and plenty of hangers. A bathroom with bath and shower attached on a pole for standing under. Mirror and hairdryer in the bathroom. The owner Juan is very helpful and speaks very good English. He was ready waiting for me at the top gate by the road when I arrived. He showed me around the apartment, showed me a nearby supermaket on a map - 10 minutes walk away - he also arranged for a taxi when I was leaving. There is a storage area in the garage if you have a later flight where you can store your luggage. The apartment is in a gated area so nice and secure. There is a gate onto the street at the back and a gate onto the wooden promenade at the bottom (the side by the sea). The apartment blocks are built on a hillside so there are some steps to climb, but they are not too steep and have a handrail. The apartment is about half way up the hillside. It is a really lovely location, quiet at night, but in the middle of the wind surfers and nearby cafes during the day. It's only 10 minutes walk into the center along the wooden promenade which is lined with nice authentic cafes and surfing shops. There are at least 3 or 4 supermarkets in El Medano, all within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend staying at this apartment and hope to come back to it again. A really nice place to stay.
