Unwind with this Minocqua cabin. This charming 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin is available for week long rentals this summer! Amazing views from inside and out. Enjoy fresh air and a refreshing lake all summer long.
The lake views from the dining room are unmatched. Hang out on the porch overlooking the water or relax on the dock with your feet in the water. This is a no large wake boat lake and we ask that every guest follows the Clean Boats / Clean Waters guidelines set forth by the Wisconsin DNR. Gunlock Lake offers pristine swimming water and is only 20 minutes from Downtown Minocqua.
Cabin was very well appointed and roomy. Enjoyed the lake and screened-in porch everyday. Deck and grill where also great. Everyone of us from age 6 to 86 had a wonderful time. The fireworks on the lake were the frosting on this vacation.

Large cabin on a beautiful lake
Our family really enjoyed our week-long stay! Four adults and two children (ages 9 and 11). We went out on the lake in a rowboat a few times, roasted s'mores over a campfire by the shoreline, and cooked meals on the large gas grill on the deck. There was lots of comfortable seating inside, and a screened in porch with chairs and table was perfect for playing boardgames in the evening. Downtown Minocqua was a 15 minute drive away. The owner was very responsive and helpful. There were a few minor hiccups with our stay involving internet, hot water, and the washing machine--but they were quickly resolved same-day or next day at the latest. There was no air conditioning, but many fans were supplied and a dip in the lake provided plenty of cooling. By the middle of the week the temperatures dipped from 90s into mid 50s, so we ended up making a fire in the fireplace too (dry firewood was also supplied). Bugs were plentiful (it is a cabin in the woods, after all) but plenty of bug spray was provided and the window and door screens were effective at keeping them out of the cabin. Definitely recommended!
