Excellent pkace to stay near Whindham Mountain

Brian's and Tracy's place was even better than what images on line show. Tracy was very responsive and attentive of all our inquires. We truly enjoyed staying at their home. Cozy, comfortable. Location is a plus as well.

Perfect House and Great Stay for a Winter Ski Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend! The house was spotlessly clean and warm. The amenities were perfect - the kitchen was well stocked and all the towels were fluffy and new. There were plenty of cleaning products, games, kitchen items, WiFi, a lovely TV for my son to watch football (!) and most importantly, the house was super close to the ski hills! The owners couldn’t have been nicer in terms of communicating and being extremely responsive on every level. They are so nice and were always quick to respond to any questions I had before and during the stay. We had a great weekend skiing with our family (Windham is a quick 8 minute drive) and it’s a great house for little kids. Heat and hot water worked great. We plan to stay here again for sure! Thank you so much for a wonderful long weekend!

Great House with Everything For a Comfortable Stay

Brian and Tracy have a wonderful house located just outside Wyndham, NY - approximately 7 minutes. If you want to feel like you are in the woods, the house will accommodate. If you want to be close to town, the house will also accommodate (though you can't walk to town). They have the house stocked with everything you would need, including, most impressively, a well appointed kitchen with quality tools. The beds were comfortable, the living room was cozy, and there was plenty of room to spread out from each other. We went skiing so we were up there in snow and cold and the house was great. From the "mud room" type area where we would stash our boots and jackets, to the warmth of the heaters, the house was comfortable. As far as summer time, the house is a two minute bike ride from the Elm Ridge mountain biking system. Finally, Brian was responsive to questions and pleasant to deal with.

Comfy Easy Stay

Great stay very close to windham mountain. Brian, the host, was super easy to communicate with and helpful. The house was cozy surround by really cool woods and trails. The house was clean and the wood burning stove was awesome. Highly recommend the stay.

Great Place!

House was extremely clean and comfortable, and well provisioned with toiletries and kitchen items. Very quiet and views of the trees from every window. The owners were very good to deal with and helped very promptly with a couple of questions we had. More like being a guest in someone's house, as opposed to a rental. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and stay

Our time in Windham was everything we hoped for, in large part because of our stay here. The house is secluded and provides peace, but is still close enough to nearby hiking, etc. to provide convenience. We also enjoyed spending time on the spacious deck. Brian was communicative and made check in easy. We look forward to hopefully coming back in the winter for some skiing!

Windham escape

My family truly enjoyed our winter getaway in Windham. The house was very clean and well maintained. Everything you needed was included and felt new, clean and safe. The wood was plentiful for the indoor stove and outdoor fire pit and we were lucky to get snow while we visited. The kids enjoyed exploring the vast property and playing in the snow. A great experience and we hope to return in the future.

Beautiful, well managed house in great location

My wife, my children (8 and 11 year old), and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful spacious house in a great location. If you like hiking, mountain biking, skiing, this place is for you. The house is very well stocked and very well managed. The deck facing the forest is very nice. We had our meals (prepared mostly on the grill) there. We will certainly come back if we have a chance.

Excellent

We stayed at the property over the holidays to ski and spend time together. The house was very nice, warm, and clean. The kitchen was filled with items to use to our needs. There were lots of games to play and the lower level was spacious enough for big party to have fun. The mattresses were comfortable. The house is located about 5 minutes from the slopes. We are looking forward to come back again.

Great Location and House for Families

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was immaculate and set-up very nicely for a couple of families with young children. The location was ideal, close enough to town but private enough to feel away from things. Everything in the house (furniture, linens, beds, dishes, etc.) seemed brand new, which was a very nice surprise in a rental property. The owner was also extremely accommodating and checked in multiple times in advance of our stay and during to see if everything was in working order. We would def rent here again.

Great House!

I would definitely recommend this vacation house. It's secluded yet close to town, ski mountains, hiking, etc. We were a party of 8 (2 families) and had plenty of room. The house is nicely decorated, with large back deck and fire pit.
