Had to contact company rep for code to enter condo an hour after arriving. Instructions were not sent prior to arrival. Ongoing repairs at the condo grossly understated in description. No balcony furniture. Dirt/mold from ac vent on ceiling.

Building is worn out and in terrible shape very poorly run during the years unit everything is worn out in old mold, and mildew in the bathroom, dirty baseboards. The only thing that worked good was the air conditioning. The elevator broke . Elevator is a disgusting factor only having one.

Great view

Great view!!! Amazing location. Nice warm pool during the cooler months. Loved that. The rugs are honestly nasty and need a good professional wash or torn up and replaced, but we just wore shoes the whole time to avoid touching them. The bathroom wasn’t clean. There was dust and other peoples hair on the sink so idk if it was washed. I disinfected the bathroom myself upon arrival. Other than that great stay! We had a parking pass issue and called the owners and had an almost immediate response which was super helpfull!! Large, spacious living room. Amazing view of the ocean from the large balcony. Great sunsets and seashells!

Condo review of 102 Chateaux

This was a very nice one bedroom condo. It's the first time we stayed there. Great access to the beach. Nice and private. Great access to restaurants nearby. The major negative was that the mattress really needs to be replaced. It has seen it's best days. Other than that the condo was really good.

Condo was very musty, understandable so, because of huricane damage. Really should not rent out until everything is finished. Carpet was atrocious and bottom of doors buckled and damaged from water damage, and couldn't close pocket door to the bathroom.

Living room carpet has got to go.

The carpet in the living room looks like it hasn't been steam cleaned since it was put in. When I complained about the filth, they said we vacuum it. I started here, less than 2 years ago and I am pretty sure it hasn't been clean between times.

Vacation Destination From Hell

If I could give this place a rating lower than 1 star, I would. The host lied about the state of the beach. He said, “It looks just like it does in the pictures.” WRONG! There were piles of sand so high you couldn’t see the ocean. He lied about the pool. We were told it was heated. It was not. Not that it made much difference, it was inaccessible because the construction crew had surrounded it with orange running fence. There were giant construction pieces staged in the property parking lot. Bulldozers & dump trucks were working all day on a beach reclamation project. Just 5 miles to the north the beach was fine, not in the middle of a construction zone. The elevator in the building was not working & its repair effort sounded in at 110 decibels right outside our door. We thought we could work around the construction equipment. The next day there were more trucks & equipment than the first, including a giant generator used to power an arc welder. Then the noise began to increase. We thought it couldn’t get worse, but it did when the 110 decibel elevator repair began. Each day the host was notified & we received nothing but excuses. “The beach was fine the last time our inspector was there.” “The HOA said the pool was heated.” “All that construction must have just begun.” We finally couldn’t take any more and we left. Don’t go near this place. Don’t trust anything this host says. Literally, the best part of the trip was when we got as far away from the place as we could.

Wonderful vacation get away!!!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Chateaux 102. It was perfectly located to the very short walk to the beach! One floor down to the beach gate access. This unit was decorated very nicely,and all furniture was very comfortable.The kitchen was very nicely stocked!The laundry facilities are within a few steps from the unit was a convenient bonus. We found a new yearly rental.

Had a great time!

We enjoy our stay and the ease of beach access. The only downfall, which was a big one due to my husband just had hernia surgery and my son had shoulder surgery, was the listing said there was an elevator and a reason I chose this condo. We had to carry a lot of heavy stuff up the stairs. The elevator was not working during our whole stay. Listing needs to reflect the elevator is out.

Chateaux 102

The condo was spacious and clean. We had a wonderful view of the water and sunsets from our balcony. The beach was great, found lots of seashells. Pool was clean and fun to swim in. My only concern was the bed. Not something to stop you from staying here but the cushion on top of mattress isn’t big enough to reach both sides of bed so you sleep half on and half off. Uncomfortable! The springs are in bad shape and really squeak’s whenever you move on it. I think a new bed is what is needed. Otherwise the place was great and had a wonderful time. Thank you. Would stay again.

Great Vacation

This was our second stay at this condo and we love it. The view of the ocean is amazing. The beach access is just steps from your door. The condo is older but clean and has everything you need for your stay. The location of the condo is perfect and it’s close to many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Can’t beat the view!

Needs updating and get rid of the carpet. Overall it was nice. Needs a different parking space. It’s a hard angle to get in and right next to visitors. When we got there, someone visiting took our spot.

Nice warm pool. Beach is great. Laundry on every floor, very nice. Room had nice bedspread, and updated decor.Lots of dishes, pots and pans, baking sheets, cutting boards, utensils. Negative- carpet looks dirty. Would stay here again.

. Desperately needs a makeover. Very loud. Right beside beach gate. Banging at all times of day. Elevator broken. Both refrigerator and dishwasher sound like plane taking off at airport. Would not bother to book there again.

But the view was great!

This property needs updating. The tub was disgusting. It had black running down it from the faucet. But the view was great. The stove kicked off the breaker while I was cooking Xmas dinner. But the view was great. I will note that maintenance was outstanding and he came quickly to fix the issue. And the view was great. The sliding door needs replacing. But the view was great. Pluses were the heated pool and the maintenance guy. And the view. For the money, we will not stay in this unit again. But the view was great.

Great time .

We had a great time . Only thing that I see needed attention was the plumbing fixtures and the sliding glass door. The plumbing fixtures was a little rusted and deteriorated.the sliding door probably needs to be changed out to a vinyl door. But our stay was great and was an excellent location for us . Thanks

Perfect !!

We loved staying at the Chateaux. The beach was so close which made it nice going back and forth from the pool to the beach. There are restrooms at the pool area which is super convenient. The facility is kept very clean. We will be back !!!
