We had the best weekend getaway and the house was just perfect ! The porch was really the highlight we spent hours each night out there relaxing and enjoying the calm atmosphere the house provided .

The house was very lovely and homey. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The host was very easy to contact if needed but we had no trouble at all. I will recommend this property to our friend and family.

We stayed for a week in July with our teenage daughter and dog. The property was clean, quiet, and a walkable distance to the beach. One thing that took us by surprise was the effect the tides had on the marsh. We were taken aback by how close the marsh water came to the house. If you, like us, have never lived directly on the water, be aware that the moon will affect the tides, and the tides will affect the water levels that are not necessarily on the beach. The marsh water will get very close to the house. Ultimately, there was no negative impact on the property or our belongings. We all enjoyed our time and had a wonderful vacation.

We loved our stay here and would definitely come back, the bungalow was very clean and decorated so cute! The location was perfect for us, as it was close to the beach, restaurants and shops but far enough away to make it peaceful and quiet.

Super cute house with great marsh views and only a few blocks to the beach! We loved seeing the sunrises & sunsets from the deck and birdwatching. Really clean and pet friendly too!

The home is cozy, well maintained and came with everything that we needed for a relaxing Christmas at the beach. The home is beautifully situated overlooking the marsh and walking distance to everything. Communication with our hosts was easy and the check out procedure was a breeze. We highly recommend staying here the next time you’re Cherry Grove.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The marsh and back porch/deck were relaxing and open. The Host was quick to respond and very communicative. Perfect straight shot walk to the beach as well. Will be coming back again!

My family spent a week at this cute beach bungalow. While most people in the area seem to use golf carts to get anywhere, walked the 500 meters to the beach with our beach wagon. We loved being at the end of a dead end street backed up to the marsh. We were there during a new moon (high tide) and were surprised to see the water from the marsh come all the way up to the deck—that, plus the hundreds of tiny crabs in the backyard were very entertaining for us midwesterners. Things we appreciated: the huge deck, comfortable beds, good tasting tap water, laundry room, the grill, the outdoor hose and shower, and the stylish decor. Things to note: there’s no ice maker or dishwasher. There are no dressers—we hung a few things in the closets and lived out of suit cases. As for the town, we loved that it was just touristy enough without being the tourist chaos of Myrtle Beach. Most of the original homes have been torn down to build giant houses in stilts and there are high rises going up north of town. We paid well more than our monthly mortgage payment for a week here—I can’t imagine what the new stilted houses cost. With that said, we would consider staying here again if/when we return to the area.

Nice get away

It was a great place to stay for a weekend. It’s right on the marsh which was very relaxing with tons of crabs! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it could have been cleaner. There was a pistachio shell left on the floor which my 15 month old found. The coffee maker was also unusable because of filth.

We were dissapointed that we could not stay there the first night, and the place thst was provided to take its place was not good! Then we had to pack everything up again and move the next day. Although we we t e very happy when we got there. Very cute place, and comfortable. On a humorous note..I didnt know about those little crabs that live in the back yard. They were everywhere.

This beachy bungalow is the absolute best! My husband and I along with our fur babies stayed for 3 nights after the huge stress of selling our home and moving out. As soon as we walked inside, we were completely relieved and relaxed. The bed was super comfy and the space is perfect. The weather was not good at all, so we didn't get to use the awesome outdoor space. Sunsets and sunrises provided a much needed calmness. Clean, comfortable and warming. I didn't want to leave. OH! And Boulineou's is right around the corner for home cooked meals and groceries, if you don't feel like cooking. Thanks so much. A

The house looked a little out of place at the end of a street with bigger homes on stilts. But it is the perfect place for this guy. It is one floor ...no stairs! Overlooks the marsh..If you have never stayed on the marsh, it is the most relaxing place to have morning coffee on the deck. The deck is huge and appears to be new. Place to tan or to stay in the shade. If it is windy there are three full sliding glass doors that looks over the marsh. Full kitchen with washer and dryer. Two bedrooms with great sleeping beds. But if you must, the beach is a two short blocks to the ocean. We are an older couple and this was the perfect place for us. The tv was large and nice, but I never mastered the controls, but we really didn't need it. My review doesn't really do it justice and it may not be for everyone. But if you haven't stayed on the marsh. this is a great place to try it out.
