Everything was great, felt very comfortable and loved the decor. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool. The outdoor shower was super handy. It was a great experience would definitely stay again!

Lovely and Cozy

Bright and cozy cabin. Just the right size for a family of five. We loved sitting down for dinner outside, and access to the pool was a great treat.

Sweet Stay in Wellfleet

This house was bright and cozy. Perfect size for our active group of six. Super clean. Terrific outdoor spaces. The community pool was a huge hit!

Week in Wellfleet

The cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. We visited the pool on the property after a long day at the beach. It was fantastic! We would highly recommend to friends and family.

Cozy, clean and friendly!

We loved our cottage and the community surrounding. The property was the perfect size for our family of 4. We had a wonderful stay and felt very welcome by the rest of Starfish Village. The cottage was lovely and clean. The pool was beautiful as well! We loved staying in Wellfleet!

The cottage was really cute, clean and comfortable.

The Starfish Village was authentic Cape Cod. A bunch of gray shingled cottages with crushed shell parking spots and little sandy yards. Each cottage is different according to the owners decor inside. Our cottage was very nicely appointed inside and had everything we needed. The bedroom air conditioner was a welcome addition on a few hot, humid nights but the fans throughout the cottage were sufficient most days. If we had a bunch of families meeting on the Cape, this little community of cottages would be perfect. When we arrived there was live music in the pool area which we loved. Otherwise, it is a nice quiet feeling of vacationers. We had friends staying nearby and could just walk back and forth. Rte six provides easy access to anywhere you want to go but we chose to use the back roads avoiding the traffic. We gave it 4 stars out of five only because the cottages are so close to one another and you can hear the cars on Rte Six. Other than that the cottage was perfect.

A Perfect Place to Stay

We stayed at The "Week In Wellfleet" cottage for the week leading up to July 4th 2014 and loved it! The location is great. Easy biking distance to several kettle ponds and ocean beaches, we were 2 adults and 2 kids so it was a little too far to bike to the bay beaches. When staying here be sure to get a parking sticker (at the pier in town) so you can park at the beaches and ponds when biking isn't an option, after 4:30 or 5 you don't need the sticker. Can't remember the price for the sticker but it was very reasonable. The house has recently been renovated and is just about perfect. Open floor plan with living room/kitchen and bedrooms off to the sides. Nice vaulted ceiling with opening skylights makes the house feel larger then it is. House has a very clean feel with hardwood floors and simple accents. It's a great layout for a family vacation, where you want to be together but not right on-top of each other. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Amazing out door shower (I don't think we used the indoor one)! There is a TV and simple stereo, we only watched TV the last night when it rained. The owner thoughtfully provided a 1/8 audio cable so you can plug your own device into the stereo. The house and Wellfleet in general are well situated for travel around the Cape. We visited P-Town several times as well as beaches in Orleans and Truro. Don't miss the sunset at Rock Harbor Beach. Check the tide tables and go when it's low tide…Amazing! Also the Rocks at Duck Beach are wonderful and all the kettle ponds are a gift of nature. Other highlights were the drive-in movie theater in Wellfleet and Karoo (South African cuisine) in Eastham. Obviously there is lots of great sea food to be had. Lots of great biking and hikes too! Kenny the owner provides a lot of useful information about local attractions and food. If you follow his advice you can't go wrong! He's also very accessible if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to coming back next summer. Thank you for a great vacation!

Location, location - quiet and close to all!

The updates to this cottage make it a great stay. We used the pool, biked to the ponds and grilled Wellfleet seafood all week long. Highly recommend - going back for sure!
