Great location!!!

The two decks on the beachfront side made the trip- definitely used everyday. The views of the ocean and the sunsets were great! The tiled showers were very roomy and nice. The house was clean and updated. Two master bedrooms ( one with a very soft topper and one with a very hard top on the beds). We rented a golf cart ( very nice running to gro stores, ice cream and local restaurants) Especially good getting around when the crowds Rolled in Labor Day weekend!! Nice concreted area around the house. We had a shrimp and crab boil out there! Great trip!! Very peaceful !

Amazing Stay

Had such a great weekend with family, friends, and a couple pets at this beautiful beach home! Right on the water, multiple amazing decks, large rooms/bathrooms, clean, and perfect space for group to get together!

Not bad

I wanted to really love this property. New build, right on the water, great views. A couple of screens had blown out during a recent hurricane and there aren’t any screen doors on the sliders to allow for beach sound to come in. The hurricane chewed up a lot of beach front too. The big strike? Unfortunately we kept finding roaches on the property and it really drove down the enjoyment factor.

Bedbugs!

We loved that the house was so close to the water and the beautiful covered porch. But it took us until the end of the week to figure out it was bedbugs that were eating us alive! We can send pictures of the bugs and the bites if you would like. There were also bugs in the dishwasher. But the bedbugs were the worst. We are still healing and going through the process of making sure we did not bring them home with us. Please replace the mattresses and have the house fumigated!

Great Location

This was our first time staying "on the beach" at Oak Island. The beach house was clean, (very important) and just enough room and privacy for two couples. We really enjoyed the huge front porch. The kitchen was nice with a washer and dryer. It was nicely furnished to cook in. The linens that were provided were fresh, clean and nicely done to use. When we first checked in, the air conditioner was not working properly, but with one phone call, it wasn't long until the maintenance person was there. It was a simple fix of a button. The maintenance person was nice, friendly and even took a picture for us. I only had one complaint, and the need for some new bed pillows, they were a bit hard and uncomfortable. All in all, the house was great for us and could maybe have some minor cosmetic updates. But the location was great, less than 2 blocks from the grocery store, and right on the beautiful beach of Oak Island. We so hope to stay again in this house. Thank you so much.!

I loved it!!

I love the ocean view from the big back porch. Spacious living room with a nice eating area. I strongly recommend anyone to rent this house. Seems like three days was not long enough.

Great home away from home

This was a great stay. Home was very homely and well kept up. Home had all the amenities of your own personal home. Great view of the ocean. Will surely rent again.

So close to the water!

While staying at the blue yonder, this has been the closest beach house to the water. Down the steps and a 15 second walk to the beach. Fantastic. Sitting on the deck during the day and just feeling like your in the water is so relaxing. Second time staying here and I love it!
