The condo was nice for our family of four.
Pros: clean, nice sheets and towels, kitchen stocked well for cooking (and nearby restaurants limited, but there’s a decent grocery store), AC worked very well, quiet, water view (but not likely to traverse the brush to enter water and there’s better access at the private Point Venture access), two levels each with a TV if desired, parking immediately in front of condo, full sized washer/dryer, pet friendly, cell reception good, access to the private Point Venture park via key card provided, a nine hole golf course w driving range and a food truck (not open while we were there), marina (Liquid Thrillz - book early, quite limited), Gnarly Gar (outdoor covered dining, lunch/dinner, mediocre food), wonderful property manager, JT.
Cons: square high top dining table seats 4 (unable to follow through w dinner plans inviting one friend to dinner because the 5 of us wouldn’t fit at the table), master bedroom downstairs has 2 queen beds w en-suite (nicest bathroom) and access to laundry room; add indicates you can take a water taxi over to Lakeway (marina, dining, etc., which you can easily see from PV as it’s not far, but there hasn’t been a water taxi in years); nearby dining we tried mediocre (Gnarly Gar & Lake Highland Grill), Wi-Fi is slow at times and there was an unexpected outage for several hours one day during the week due to a solar flare.
We really enjoyed the private access to the PV park, where you can walk the shoreline, swim (water level was up, bring water shoes as it’s rocky), play disc golf, playground, boat ramp, etc. The golf course was nice. Access to boats and jet skis was nice. There’s also access to a community swimming pool, fitness center and tennis courts. All amenities are less than one mile from condo. Going to town to CVS, Lowe’s grocery store, Sonic, etc. is a 7 mile drive.
All in all a nice stay in a somewhat secluded community with nice lake amenities!
