Management and Owner does not care

First the good Clean, furnishings in good shape, great location, on site staff ( maintenance/upkeep and security )were helpful, knowledgeable about the area and always happy. The bad The owner Art and the vrbo manager Fabio do not care about you!!!!!!! We were told ( I specifically asked) there would be a BBQ on site and the area on the roof top was under construction. They said too bad for you. The construction was very loud all day long. There were chunks of concrete falling on us at the pool. All 4 apartments complained about noise level and our safety around the pool. Both Art and Fabio did not care. Fabio said he would contact owner then never responded again. Art basically said if you don't like it leave. I would NEVER rent with either one of these men again. The place is nice but there are plenty of nice places to rent on the beach.

Beautiful Ocean Front Property

We loved this property! It is right on the ocean and the beach was awesome! The grocery store is nearby and the people are very friendly. You can walk for miles on the beach. Restaurants everywhere. We look forward to coming back next year!

Just as beautiful as the pictures!

What a great place and what a nice bunch of people to serve you. Anything we asked or needed was a call or text away. A special shout out to Raul who was there everyday to clean the pool and maintain the beautiful deck and the flowers. We had never been to to the DR and this was a wonderful intro!

best spot in cabarete

best view, large modern well appointed unit with access to beautiful rooftop terrace for a sunset cocktail. small well-kept eternity pool. two minute walk to janet’s - cabarete’s grocery store. security guard at night, daily check in by very efficient janitor. best spot on the beach - calmest waters to swim in. fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves even with windows closed. AC efficient and quiet. a gem.

Wonderful time!

My fiancé and I booked our stay at the View because my fiancé’s parents live in Salcedo and are not into resorts but wanted a break from the daily farm life. Needless to say The View was perfect for our family of 5 getaway. Our stay at The View was AMAZING! From the ocean view, to the ocean sounds at night, to the EFFICIENT, ACCOMODATING AND WARM staff. Mr. Thate, Raul and Jennifer made our stay comfortable and most of all warm. There was security around the clock which made all of us feel safe and at ease. We are looking forward to staying at The View going forward for a longer stay maybe even book more than one apartment. I’m still glowing from all the rest and relaxation received from our stay at The View.  The View get 5 stars from us. Thank you for sharing this amazing space with tired New Yorkers looking for rest and relaxation.

Breathtaking entrance

Walking in to the unit, our first VIEW was of the sunset over the ocean through the windows to the patio. *gasp The entire unit was immaculate and more than we had counted on. We spent so many hours in the pool, sitting at the ocean side patio, walking right on to the beach to restaurants and into the ocean. Simply Amazing! The only complaint I had was on our last night (Friday) the bass from the nearby dance clubs kept me from sleeping (I'm very sensitive to noise, though). That is literally the only complaint. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay in Cabarete!

We had a wonderful stay here. The condo is beautiful. Very good location, security and staff. Our check in was easy and any small issues were immediately attended to. Our favourite was the proximity to the ocean - we could listen to it all night while we slept - heaven. We would love to stay here again upon our next visit.

Unbelievable view

We so enjoyed our time at The View. We have never stayed in a place with such a nice view before. It was amazing to be able to crack the door and hear the waves all night while sleeping. The place was very comfortable with nice furnishings and everything you could need. The location was great and allowed us to walk to many different restaurants along the beach. We were already figuring out how to get back before we left! Thank you so very much!

Memorable vacation in Cabarete February 26th to March 26th 2019

First time in Cabarete and I have got to say the condo on the second floor of this building was very clean, the housekeeper came 3 times a week for cleaning and she was wonderful. The condo is close to everything, Janet's grocery, restaurants, beach, etc. Raoul who took care of the place was very pleasant to talk to and informative on different tours available, rental cars and anything to do in Cabarete. He was very professional and took care of a couple of things to fix (minor) in the apartment. Fabio and Paul (property manager) answered all our questions before and after we got there and where also very professional. What to say about Cabarete which I think is one of the best place for Kite surfing in the world, very impressive seeing all of these athletes perform their favorite sport and while we were there for a month there was a carnaval with parade and impressive costumes, music and dance. We enjoyed every minute of our memorable vacation at the View. I want to thank every one of you for all of your effort, this was a great vacation!

Great place!

Our family stayed here for a little over a month and the place was fantastic. The location is superb (close to Janet Supermarket), the decor is modern and tasteful, and the the customer service from the onsite manager (Raúl) was professional and friendly. One added bonus is that the place has purified water in all the bathrooms and kitchen, which makes things a lot easier when it comes to preparing food and brushing teeth (vs. having to deal with the large water jugs, or botellones, which most other places in Cabarete use). And the view...... spectacular!!

Clean and Spacious Condo with Beautiful Views in a Fantastic Location

From booking through check-out, Fabio and his team worked hard to ensure our stay at The View was absolutely perfect. Fabio, Paul, and Raul attended to every detail prior to our arrival and responded quickly to inquiries made via email, phone, Whatsapp, or in person throughout our stay. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to be within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, and beach activities. The condo is clean, well stocked, and spacious. And the view is absolutely stunning. Cabarete is a great town and this is a gem of a place to stay. We hope to be back very soon.

"The View" lived up to its name

Sometimes a property doesn't look as nice in real life as it did in the pictures when you booked it. In this case, the pictures didn't even come close to capturing how amazing this place is. The view from the balcony has to be one of the best views in all of Cabarete. If you aren't satisfied with that, you can go up to the roof top terrace and see a complete panoramic view of the ocean while enjoying the grill and lounge up there. The property is right on top of the water so you can hear the waves crashing even with the windows closed which I loved. We stayed on the 3rd (top) floor. The inside is almost as spectacular. The living room is very spacious with a nice dining area and kitchen too. And the master bedroom looks like it should belong to a celebrity. The bathroom is unbelievable. The pool was on the smaller side but nice for a quick dip, especially at night. The location was convenient enough a few minutes away from a nice supermarket. You did have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the main section of stores and restaurants. We walked directly on the beach a few times but it was a little challenging with uneven ground and some climbing involved due to damage on the beach from recent storms. I can't say enough about how helpful Raul, the caretaker was. He was quick to respond to any issue we had and always willing to answer our questions about the property and the area. The night watchman was always at his post too so we felt very secure. The only negative I have to mention is the apartment was not cleaned well. When we arrived, I immediately noticed that the closets in the guest bedroom had dust and dirt in the drawers and there was even an empty Presidente can on the bottom shelf. Some of the towels and linens did not smell clean so we washed them. The refrigerator had something smeared on the inside that we had to wipe down. The shower mat had grime in the crevices which came off with a quick spay of cleaner. We told Raul and he said he would address it with the cleaning service that they use. Hopefully, the management can improve in that one area. If so, this place will be absolutely perfect! We were all extremely satisfied with our stay at The View and would gladly stay there again. I highly recommend it.

Great condo with an amazing view.

Loved how close it was to restaurants and kite beach. Would recommend to anyone. If you are a noise sensitive sleeper like me you might choose smaller room where late night club beats are muffled at night. I loved that both rooms had king beds.

Sound of the Ocean

This condo is located right on the ocean. You can hear the ocean waves break over the rocks even with the windows closed. Nice sounds for sleeping. Condo is new, clean, and well-appointed. Negatives are: 1. No beach right in front of the condo, but within several hundred feet. Not a real problem. 2. The area just to the left of the condo building is congested and needs to be cleaned up a bit. Hopefully, this will be done once the large building next-door is finished. If this area is cleaned up and you are looking for a small condo building (only 3 in the entire building), this is a great place. Location is close to supermarket, close to restaurants, etc.

It doesn't get any better than the View

I have visited Cabarette several times a year for some 15 plus years and stayed at numerous hotels, apts, and private villas, the View is by and far the best I have ever encountered. If you want to be pampered and never leave the grounds, Cabarette offers numerous all inclusive, some excellent values, or go to the south shore. If, however, you're the adventurous type who enjoys walking the beach, exploring Cabarette beach side restaurants, bars, and night life you won't find a more spacious and luxurious place to reside than the View. It offers a panoramic view of the length of the beach, watching the wind surfers and wind surfers dance in the horizon from the apt all the while enjoying a serenade of the gentle rolling surf. An if you want to enjoy an even expanded 180 deg view just venture up to the 4th floor deck that is perfect for sunning and completely equipped for a outdoor meal with a charcoal pit, range, sink and bar. We spent several evenings just relaxing and soaking up the sights and sounds of the beach with a late night cocktail. You never need to feel insecure, Raul, the maintenance man if around during the day and a treasure trove of information on island opportunities. A security guard is around all night and the complex is under camera surveillance. Need supplies: Janet's supermarket is a short 5 minute walk. Transportation: I have given renting cars, except maybe for a day, the insurance is higher than the rental. Taxi's are much more cost effective even going to Sosua or Puerto Plata. They arranged a pick up from the airport for $30 and we wound up using the driver, Ricardo, all week. He was readily available with a phone call. Great guy. The spacious sensation of the apt is enhanced by the floor to ceiling glass and furnishing are top notch: 3 TV's w/ Satellite, & Wi Fi. We are sold on the View and I can't image staying anywhere else on future trips.

everything was great. perfect location, all high end utilities in the apartment. market half a block away. restaurants all walking distance. no need to rent a car best view in Cabarete. armed security I will definitely return. Raul the maintenance man is a good guy. will do anything for you. Danny the security good is also nice.

Gorgeous condo with Amazing views

Our stay was absolutely relaxing at “The View”. Mr Thate arranged A wonderful driver who picked us up from the airport and took us to the grocery store . He gave us recommendations on excursions, restaurants, etc. Security and grounds keeper/maintanence who were always visible and available if needed. Christina, our housekeeper was wonderful. Since our stay was over the Easter Holiday there were limited excursions available but that just gave us more time to enjoy the wonderful accommodations. We enjoyed lounging at the pool, walking along the beach. We enjoyed grilling out on rooftop and watched the amazing sunset. We did go to the local restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine. Fabio and Nancy made the entire process enjoyable for all of us.

The most amazing place on Cabarete beach

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful place for a month. The view is exactly what it is advertised at. It has the most spectacular view of Cabarete beach. The wind and ocean is calm in front of the View so it is great for swimming and relaxing. The condo is very spacious and well laid out . It has a very spacious deck. Paul made sure all our needs were looked after plus more. Raul is the day time caretaker and is a wonderful super hard working man. He always makes sure that everything is in top notch. Crystina was our house cleaner and also did a superb job. The location is very close to Janets the best grocery store in town. Also you are just a 2 minute walk away from all the restaurant and beach bars. At night all you can hear is the waves from the ocean. Security is 24/7 We would highly recommend the View to anyone. Our family loved our stay in this modern beautiful place

Outstanding Location and Exquisite View

We were two couples from Canada that stayed at The View on the second floor condo for 8 glorious nights. The pictures on VRBO were exactly what we saw when we arrived. The view from the condo is absolutely beautiful and all you see is ocean and beach. We were literally a 5 minute walk down the lane to Janet's grocery store on the main street where you can purchase anything you will need. And, a 3-5 minute walk down the beach and you are in the heart of all the restaurants, lounges and bars where there are many great choices for dinner, happy hour, etc. We were also a 5 minute walk from the main street where you can find endless choices for dining, shopping and other amenities. Location of this condo is absolutely perfect and we would stay here again without hesitation. Other Pros were: Raoul is the resident handyman who is on site every day and we could text him or go get him whenever we needed anything. He was so friendly, polite and eager to help us with anything we needed. Christina, the housekeeper, was also a lovely woman who came into our condo three times during the week to clean the condo and she did a great job. Paul was also very helpful, meeting us at our condo when we arrived and since he lives nearby, that was handy as well. I do believe this is a 5 star accommodation but I do have a couple of recommendations that would have really made our stay even better.....both couples found the mattresses on the beds to be quite hard. For that reason, we didn't have the best sleeps and feel that investing in memory foam toppers for both beds would be an excellent and well worth investment. We highly recommend this as the mattresses were not 5 star. Also, our living room air conditioning was broken and, in spite of Raoul's determined effort to fix , it was not fixed for our stay. This was a bit of an inconvenience but we were happy that the air conditioning units in the bedrooms did work. And, our dishwasher did not work so we were told to just leave our dirty dishes on the counter and Christine would wash them when she came to clean, which she did. This worked but it bothered us a bit having dirty dishes around for a couple days. I would also suggest the owner purchase a second hair dryer so there is one in each bathroom, for each couple staying there. And ensure there are some paper towels and dish detergent so that the renters can tidy and clean a few dishes if they choose in between the housekeeping visits. Thanks so much!

We had the pleasure to spent 4 days at this beautiful place. From the moment we saw the view, we heard the sound of the waves it was a dream come true. Sleeping with the sound of the sea is the most amazing experience you will endure. Walking distance to everywhere from restaurants, supermarket, and must important the beach. Morning walking on the beach were just spectacular. watching tons of kites from your balcony so beautiful, talking to the locals and having the fisherman stoping by with their day catch totally a blessing. This place is very open and and bright. Paul was our host, he was amazing as well. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the places to go. He recommended me the most amazing massage therapist and she drove from another town to give us massage everyday on the balcony,.... Priceless. We totally recommend this unit you will love it.
