I actually split my time between both places, and The Cozy Birmingham Chalet is my second home to be closer to family.

I’m a Christian, an event planner, designer, traveler, and foodie who loves hosting and creating beautiful, welcoming spaces. There’s just something special about curating a peaceful escape where guests can unwind, make sweet memories, and feel truly cared for.

I’ve always dreamed of living near Birmingham, Michigan — and when I found this little gem back in 2017, I just knew it was meant to be. It quickly became a passion project. I poured my heart into every corner of the home, designing it to feel warm, cozy, and full of charm — a true reflection of me.

The location is one of my favorite things about it. You can take a peaceful 20-minute walk into downtown Birmingham, or grab a sweet treat just five minutes away at one of the nearby ice cream shops. Downtown Royal Oak is only a 10-minute drive, and if you’re here during the annual Woodward Dream Cruise, you’re just a 2-minute stroll away from all the action — it’s right around the corner!

You’re also just 25 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport, making travel a breeze. The neighborhood is vibrant and full of life — with amazing restaurants, local shops, nightlife, and hidden gems around every corner. There’s truly never a dull moment, but it still somehow feels like a quiet retreat.

One of the guest-favorite features is the luxury rainfall shower system — and trust us, it’s not just a shower, it’s a full spa experience. Picture this: a warm rainfall and waterfall stream cascading down as six adjustable body jets gently massage away any tension. Add in the handheld wand for targeted comfort, or turn on all the settings at once for the ultimate in relaxation. It’s like having your own personal spa right at home.

The kitchen is full of charming touches, including a built-in instant hot water tap — perfect for those quiet, early mornings. Skip the kettle and pour yourself a steaming mug of tea or French press coffee within seconds, while the house is still quiet and calm. Enjoy it at the table while soft sunlight filters in, or take it outside for a moment of peace before the day begins.
