Great secluded location with easy access to the Schoodic Peninsula. The two building set up allowed the two of us to stay in one cottage while my daughter and her family stayed in the other.

Everything about this place was 10/10. We really loved having our own space and having our own little peninsula to spread out and enjoy. We saw seals from the kayaks and bald eagles from the deck and really enjoyed picking up lobsters and steaming them for dinner ourselves. Proximity to the Schoodic parks and being close enough to Acadia (but far from the crowds) was truly ideal. The only drawback is the tap water but definitely worth putting up with for a limited time to be in such a gorgeous location. Amazing vacation, would rent again!

Perfect relaxing rustic escape. This is what you would expect from a rural Maine property so our family wasn’t bothered by it. Nice selection of games and puzzles. Gorgeous property views.

Unique experience and wonderfully private. This property was so much better than expected. It was well-stocked with dishes, utensils and gadgets for preparing meals. The kayaks, canoe, paddles and life preservers allowed us to explore the surrounding area. We encountered seals, eagles, and many types of waterfowl & shorebirds on our excursions. The washer & dryer worked well and was convenient for packing light. We highly recommend this property and plan to return again for another stay. Thank you for making our vacation stupendous.

Beautiful, quiet downeast Maine coastal property. If you’ve visited Mt Desert island but found the Schoodic peninsula more your speed, you will love this place. Past the crowds, seals and eagles everywhere. Plenty of space for the whole family inside and out. Our kids loved the separate bunkhouse cabin and sea kayaking every day.

We loved every minute of our stay! It was wonderful waking up on the water everyday. We had so much fun bird watching and kayaking. Our dog had the time of his life exploring the peninsula. The home was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and Tori was a great, responsive host. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful little compound in a great private area. The location cannot be beat. We simply loved it, especially with our dogs. The family is wonderful to work with. We did not find having to use bottled water for cleaning, drinking or cooking (esp since so much is provided) an issue. We'd honestly stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our retreat was awesome with gorgeous views of the bay, eagles and other magnificent birds plus 3-4 seals who visited us daily. Along with nearby hiking trails we drove into Acadia National Park which was unfortunately very crowded so we hurried back to our very own peninsula to enjoy the solitude, watching the tides roll in and out. Definitely recommend our location to others seeking peacefu gorgeous escape .

My husband David and I spent seven days in your lovely home with our two adult children and their spouses and our grand-fur-son, Miso the amazing Corgi. We all had the best time making memories to last a lifetime. The views were gorgeous, regardless of the weather. The area was void of human noise pollution. The animal life was abundant. The house was beautiful, spacious, airy, bright and warm and welcoming. David and I had the loft cabin (relaxing napping cabin), the kids had the main fun house. The table fit us all comfortably - great for family meals and game time. The picture window was a treat to sit at as we watched the days go by.I spent my mornings writing and sipping tea on the deck. We filled our downtime bird watching. We sat around a roaring campfire drumming and watching the flames dance through the night. We went hiking, whale watching, biking, site seeing. Relaxing in peace was our favorite pastime. We'd gather out on the rocks in the warm sun to watch the seagulls, eagles, pipers, herons, and otters go about their lives as the tide kept time rolling in and out.We had one day of rain, which was just beautiful. It brought us ethereal misty views that gave us some great photos. There were a few minor issues, but Tori was immediate in her responses and we are grateful to have such an accessible host!We are definitely considering returning again so we can explore more of Maine's countryside and waterways.

My family (2 adults and 4 kids plus dog) had a phenomenal stay at such a special place. We hiked every day, saw lots of wildlife, the kids played on the rocks and swam, went out on kayaks, did a puffin tour and ate some great food. It’s such a peaceful location, family friendly, and surrounded by dramatically beautiful scenery.

My family really enjoyed staying here. The house was lovely and comfortable, and the location was perfect. It was far enough away from other houses and towns that it was super quiet at night and you could see so many stars in the night sky with no light pollution. It is the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy nature. It is also not far from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, where there are many more activities, shopping, and dining. I highly recommend it!

My family is from Newport, Rhode Island and we have been traveling to Milbridge ME for about 15 years since my Granny, Chris Offenberg, inherited this property from her friend Connie. We have loved this place so much for all these years and are excited by the opportunity for others to enjoy it as well! This was one of Granny's favorite places in the world and she was so happy to show us everything she loved about it, mostly all the rocks! We hope our guests enjoy it just as much as she always did and respect our family's special place.
