This was an excellent base for a 4-day biking trip. 5 out of 8 of us stayed here to have our own rooms. I really appreciated the simple low-tech simple door lock and simple, easy-to-use coffee maker. The spa was clean and full, a welcome sight after a hard day of riding. Being high on the mountain meant this was quieter than other places we've stayed in Stoneham.

Driveway is extremely small if you are traveling with a group of people be aware of parking. Upstairs beds are very uncomfortable. Inside was clean although we saw ants. We did have a good experience but traveling with young children the home is not set up for children (which is not a complaint, just a heads up)

The house itself is beautiful and the location is absolutely beautiful. We really appreciated the space and the potential of the property, especially for a large group.Unfortunately, there were several maintenance and convenience issues during our stay that made things more difficult than expected. The house felt somewhat run down and could use some attention and repairs. The stove handle was missing and there was green tape on it, so we were unsure whether it was safe to use. The cold-water pressure was very low, and the sink faucet was broken. One of the windows could not be opened, and the patio table was unstable. The railing on the outdoor stairs was also broken, which was concerning from a safety perspective. For a house advertised for up to 16 guests, having only two frying pans was quite inconvenient. There were also only 16 towels provided, meaning we had to wash towels frequently during our stay.Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful location and the house has a lot of potential, but we feel that some maintenance, repairs, and better stocking of basic kitchen and bathroom supplies would greatly improve the experience for future guests.

Location was great with a short distance to Empire 47 (16 mins) and SDM (24) MTB areas. The place is definitely used and in need of some maintenance but overall suited our purposes for a bunch of MTB'ers. The Hot tub and grill were in good working order and the large living room/dining/kitchen area were very accommodating. We did find the deck area rather tiny for all of us (8) but the view from the deck is great. Note that the driveway can only handle 3 cars max and that's with some creative parking and you can't park on the road. Cool spot, served our purpose and would rent again.

Beau chalet familial

Great experience!

We had a great time at the chalet. A bit of miscommunication with the owner about the check-in but ended out fine in the end. Half of our group coudn't come because of covid and there was 0 room for accomodations but I guess that's life with the pandemic.
