Quick communication with the host. House is getting a little worn in areas but overall clean and comfortable. Beds are new and soft, we prefer firmer mattresses but they were definitely ok. Water pressure in the showers was great and heated up quickly. Filter water from the fridge was clean and tasted good. Loved the fire pit! Lots of outdoor seating. Super close to the beach. A very nice stay.

Nice location and house

The house is adorable. Stocked kitchen to cook in and enjoy. My only complaint is the downstairs bedroom doesnt have a working TV. I like to watch some TV before falling asleep. Otherwise location is amazing and house is comfy

A Stay To Remember

Stayed here during my daughter’s cheer tournament and brought the whole family. Just what I expected and more! We loved being steps away from the ocean, the balconies, and all the rooms. We especially loved the overstocked kitchen! We had everything we needed to cook every meal. We loved to too our evenings with S’mores on the balcony fire pit. My only complaint is that we had a few power outages but we were able to flip the main breaker to resolve the issue. Gets a little hot in the house.

Wonderfully beautiful, clean and close beach house

Our family of four enjoyed this house. We have stayed at treasure island every summer for the past five summers and this house has been our best one yet. The proximity to the beach is just about as close as you can get. The house is so tastefully decorated and clean. It rained almost the whole weekend so it was nice to be in a nice house!

Great beach stay

We had an amazing time at this beach house. It was a minute walk from the beach, super clean, and the property manager was quick to respond to any concerns.

Easy beach access

We returned to “across the pass” and enjoyed it as much as the first time. One minute walk to the beach. View of the ocean from the dinner table. The management company is really helpful if you have any questions.

Great house, great location, great host!

We had an awesome family spring break at Across the Pass. The house was perfect; very clean and well appointed. We especially liked the welcome gift basket. The neighborhood was great, full of families. Aside from the waves, it was very quiet and secluded! The outdoor shower was not working during out stay. We let 979 know and despite plumbing material shortages due to the recent freezes, they were able to come out the next day and repair the shower for us! Thanks for everything.

Wonderful home

This was my 2nd time staying at this lovely home. And 6th time in this neighborhood over the last 5 years. This house is just perfect out of all the houses we have stayed. We love the location and the views. The little decorations are also a great touch. It just fits our family and we feel at home. The neighbors are also very friendly as well. Thank you for allowing us into your home. We will be back.

Perfect location, Great views

Love this house, it's in the perfect location. Very short walk to the beach. Great views from the 2 decks & some of the windows. Cute... love the decor. Clean & spacious. The little welcome basket even included a treat for my dog. :) The cable was out during our stay, but it didn't bother me personally... a note was left to let us know. Will definitely return to this house!

Best beach in Surfside

This house is a very short walk from the beach (the entrance is maybe 2 houses away) and because there is no nearby car beach access there are very few cars parked or driving on the beach, in contrast to the west end of Surfside (golf carts are there). House was clean with plenty of kitchen tools, we enjoyed the upper deck to watch the sunset and it was very comfortable for our family of four plus dog. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Place

I love this place and the location. It was clean and comfy. It has both a Keurig and a coffee maker. It has a crock pot too. Plenty of Kitchen stuff. The only negative I can think of is they did not have but a few glasses to drink out of. I did email them and they got us 4 glasses from the dollar store the next afternoon. So make sure and bring some Solo cups.

Family fun weekend

We enjoyed the house and the beach. We found that there are few things that need to added to list; More kitchen towels are needed, hand soap, kitchen needs big skillet and new pot holders. Add there is a coffee maker. Sign on the house needs to be painted. it was hard to read . More instruction on changing TV control to dvd player in living room.

Perfection!

What a fantastic, much needed get-away! Across the Pass could not have been a more relaxing, well maintained, beautiful vacation home. Not to mention the absolute perfect location . . . . Quiet, relaxing and often times one of the few people on the beach. Had we had the opportunity to stay longer we would have! Property mangement was superb as far as communication was concerned and left several personal touches around the home to welcome us. Thank You!

overall the stay was great. the bigger beds where very comfortable (most comfortable i've experienced in renting) and having the beach in walking distance was great. only down side was the amount of mosquitoes which isn't the fault of the place.

Beautiful Beach house close to beach

Overall the house was great! Nice furnishings, decorations, sleeping areas, etc., but a little sparse on kitchen items, no beach towels, etc. Also, not the owners fault, but beach access is a little more difficult than it was the last time we stayed in the area. The walkover at the end of the street in front of the house is fenced off now and you either have to walk under someone else's house or walk through a large lot of unmowed grass at the back to get to the access. We brought our golf cart but there is only one way to enter the beach with a cart, and that entrance was so deep with soft sand that all the carts kept getting stuck. Again, not the owner's fault, but it does make a difference if close beach access is important. Outdoor warm shower is great! I loved the decks to sit out and to view the ocean. Washer & dryer is handy and TVs in every room with Direct TV was nice. Overall we had a very nice time and enjoyed the house.

Life was the beach!!

We absolutly loved our stay at Across the Pass! The home was so inviting, clean, and close to the beach! It had all of the items we needed while we were there. We grilled every night and sat on the balconies and listened to the ocean every morning and evening. We walked 3 houses down to the beach every day and night! We found so many unique shells and the kids loved it! Especially going crabbing at night! The only downside was that the mosquitos around the parking area were horrible! we went through about 3 cans of OFF! and bought citronella candles for the balconies. My parents have bad knees and the stairs were a factor for them to going up and down. Other than that it was the perfect, relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend Across the Pass for any family vacation or get away. We will be booking again!! Thank you!!

Brand new, great arrangement of the beds, baths and common areas. Loved having a full kitchen and dining area so that we could bring in fresh seafood and do our own crab boil or grill shrimp on the deck with the provided propane grill. Common area deck with tons of seating. And an upper deck; great private place to hang a hammock and enjoy the sound of the waves. Just a few steps to the beach. Never had any crowds on the beach, no late parties or noise complaints. Family friendly, but also a private getaway for honeymooners. We will definitely rent here again.

Super Cozy

The house was super clean and cozy. We enjoyed the evening breeze sitting on the patio listening to the waves break. It is only a short walk to the beach. We brought a wagon which made it easy to take your supplies all at once. There is great fishing so be sure to bring a popping rod. The neighbors on both sides of the house are super nice. My only negative would be, they need a couple of large pots for cooking. Other than that we had a great time. We highly recommend this vacation home.
