One of the best stays I have had

Me and my family rented this home for week and everything was just and they listed. We have an excellent time with all of the games and so much fun out on the lake. We will be coming again

The property was beautiful and just as pictured/advertised. Beware that your every move will be monitored and questioned by the host. I expected privacy but that is not what we received. I understand the desire for protecting your property but we took complete care of the property and cleaned up after ourselves and did not have a party. We did have some visitors over because we came in from out of town but apparently that is unacceptable as the host was counting vehicles and that was ridiculous. I’m a 40 year old woman with my 3 kids and then my parents and 44 year old sister and her kiddos (two toddlers included). We were not there to cause a ruckus but the host made us feel otherwise And when I communicated this concern I got no response yet she wanted a count of every single person that was there and why the number of vehicles. VRBO brags about privacy from the host but this was not it.

Thank you for your review and for noting that you found the property beautiful and well maintained during your stay. We want to clarify for future guests that the home has a strict maximum occupancy of 10 guests, based on septic capacity and safety requirements, and no events or additional gatherings are permitted unless pre-approved. During your stay, we observed activity that indicated occupancy and usage beyond the reservation details, which prompted us to reach out for clarification. In addition, our rental agreement clearly states that pets are only permitted with prior approval and applicable fees. This policy is in place to ensure proper care of the property and consistency for all guests. A pet was present during the stay without prior approval. We always aim to balance guest privacy with the responsibility of enforcing house rules for safety, property protection and neighborhood considerations. We appreciate your stay and wish you all the best.
