Bait and switch. Do not book from this owner.
I booked this room for 17 nights. Never heard from the owner. When I finally got her to call me back she was unaware of the booking. We met at the condo and she said the one I booked was unavailable. But. She has another one that I could use. Of course the one I originally booked had a view of the ocean and was completely updated. The one she put me in had no view and was not updated at all. Russian is her first language and had great difficulty communicating. The other homeowners in the complex actually came to us when they saw that we were in this unit and told us this owner was a constant problem and this is a regular occurrence with her. The unit was not completely dirty but was definitely not clean. My girlfriend cleaned everything including mopping the floors and cleaning out the fridge crumbs and all. I’ll share the photos of the unit I took when we left to prove we left it in cleaner condition than we when we arrived. Oh and of course she showed up to inspect the property at 8:30 am while I was packing up. I complained and she said she would send me a check for 200 to remedy the disparity in the rooms. I’ll believe it when I see it. Just do not from this person. She blamed everything on Vrbo. I call bs. The neighbors know she’s a problem. Here’s the condo we were given. Hopefully you can see the one we were supposed to get in the ad vs what we got.
