Overall, the property was okay. When we came up to the property, it was beautiful - tucked in a secluded jungle landscape. Check in was easy enough, directions were clear. Will say you can absolutely tell what numbers were used for the gate, because the two numbers used were a lot more dirty then any others, so I assumed they don't change the gate code often. Large area of greenery to park, which was nice to see. Then when we actually went into the house was where things started going not so great. We didn't feel like the house was up to par with the cleanliness and felt like it was cleaned possibly surface level, but lots of dust in areas we touched, bugs, webs, etc. Sheets for the beds seem clean on the inside, but there were a lot of bugs laying on top. Then the 2 bed 2 bathroom layout was awkward. To get to one of the rooms and bathroom, you have to go through the other bathroom. It seems like part of the house was built as an attachment and to get to the attachment roombathroom, you need to pass through the main bathroom. Most of the lights but 1 in the living room did not work, so that room was unused. The biggest problem we dealt with were the bugs, which is common in Hawaii and being in a very tropical rainy location of the island, but it was excessive. Seen multiple lg/sm cockroaches a day, geckos everywhere and so was there poop, multiple other bugs just all the time. The house was not sealed well at all, gaps in doors and windows. We found the stay okay
