Internet awful. Service non-existent. Cable awful.
Many basic channels unavailable or going in and out . Could not get news service. Wife and I were trying out looking for something to buy, but we have ruled this property out because builders and management cheaped out on these services. I can only wonder what else they cheaped out on??? Got about half the value for the money I spent. Staff was very nice and helpful as much as they could be

Nice vacation, with some nits
Originally had booked a house in Orange Beach through VRBO/Brett Robinson. A few days before arrival, we were notified that the house was "no longer available" but a condo at Phoenix East would be substituted at no extra charge. It was disappointing since we were looking forward to having a house, and it was now too late to book anything else. After getting pictures of the condo, we weren't thrilled. It was very very dated looking. There were some great things though we did like about Phoenix East. Check in was great and very easy. Having carts available was a big help. The beach itself was outstanding and beautiful. The unit itself could have been a bit cleaner. We found a dirty sock, a hair bow and some bracelets on the window sill of one of the bedrooms (they are still there). The furniture is dated like the pictures show. They still have a VCR in the master bedroom? The patio furniture was also old and dated and had a smell. Most of the TV/DVD player's remote controls were either missing batteries or they simply didn't work. I am sure that there are some rentals that are in better shape than this one. There are lots of choices in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area and if I had more notice from the rental company I would have looked elsewhere. We all still had a great time, but it could have been much better, with a better condo.
