This property is advertised as being in Knox Henderson. It is not. To my surprise, I pulled up to a complex with trash strewn everywhere and overgrown grass and weeds across the street. Think gentrifying/transitioning. My door code did not work when I arrived. As a solo traveling female, I was very uncomfortable standing outside, at night, in this neighborhood, fumbling with the door code. I called the contact and she was able to give me a working code. When I entered the unit, it was beautifully decorated and quite cute, but reeked of cigarette smoke and marijuana. As I tried to sleep that night, and amidst a coughing fit, I discovered it was coming through the vents from the neighbors. The Wi-Fi did not work. Nor did the televisions. The windows were this weird frosted glass, the blinds were broken and taped together and I just felt unsafe in this unit. The AC rumbled all night and I didn't get a wink of sleep. The bathroom was nice though and the shower had good water pressure. Nevertheless, I packed up my belongings after one night and checked into a hotel. The only saving grace was DJ who was my point of contact throughout this whole ordeal. She was sympathetic, kind, and professional when I reported each of these issues to her. I also have to give the management company credit for 1) being open to remedy the issues (although the damage was already done and no way was I staying in this unit) and 2) refunding me for the 8 nights I didn't stay. Would not recommend.
