Amazing vacation! House couldn’t be more perfect! The most fully stocked house I’ve ever rented. Has everything you may need plus more. Cheryl was great and even brought us a rum cake we ordered. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay. Highly recommend!

This is such an amazing house. Have been coming to Harbour Island for years and highly recommend. Great for kids, steps to the beach and Cheryl the housekeeper is wonderful. The host is so easy to contact if there is a problem and always responds in a timely manner. I couldn’t recommend this property more.

Perfect Family Gathering Spot on Harbour Island

Great location -- 50 steps out the back gate to thebeach. Wonderful "spool" with awesome outdoorspace. Very responsive owners and helpfulunobtrusive housekeeper. Love the filtered waterdispenser, assortment of condiments and convenient barbeque grills (2).

We had the most amazing stay! We have rented different houses in the Bahamas for many years and this was the best by far! We can’t wait to come back!

Better than the listing

When I asked the taxi driver if he knew Stonesthrow, he said "of course, it's the best house on the island." It's a truly great house in a great location - just across from the beach access. We all thought it was better than it appears in the listing, as the house is in great shape and super clean and well equipped. Perfect for families and friends.

A great place to stay

This was our second trip to Harbour Island but our first stay at Stonesthrow and this was such a fantastic place to stay. We had kids ranging from ages 1.5 to 12 and all of them had a wonderful time. There were a great number of beach and pool toys available, plentiful towels and the kitchen was so well appointed for our group. We cooked dinner at the house every night and I don't think I have ever stayed in a vacation rental that had such a well equipped kitchen. We have taken a lot of family vacations and rented a variety of houses but this one was absolutely the best one we've ever rented. Can't wait to come back soon!!

Terrific week in Briland!

Had a wonderful stay at Stone’s Throw. Perfect house for a group of people. Well appointed house with all of the amenities for entertaining and activities. Easy walk to beach and nice neighborhood. Would definitely come back to the house with a group.

Incredible House

This may be the best vrbo I have ever stayed in. I'll start by saying the name definitely fits the house. It was at most a minute walk to the pink sand beach. The house is beautiful and was fully stocked with everything from paper towels to coffee. We all agreed we would stay here again if we get back to the island. It was an amazing vacation!

The house was perfect for us. We were seven adults and a five and seven year old. The house has all the fun Beach toys, chairs etc and an easy stroll to the beach. When at the house, the pool was perfect to keep the kids busy!! I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family of 9 enjoyed all the features of the home - proximity to the beach (exactly 36 steps from the back gate until you see the ocean); heated pool with wonderful outdoor kitchen complete with TV, Sonos, and bar; comfortable bedding, bottled water and ice provided (as well as generous condiments), and the best part was the owner's responsiveness. We lost internet one day and they responded with the focus and intensity that one would expect if something were on fire! Great stay -- would definitely return!

Fantastic property

This property does not disappoint. Very spacious and well appointed. We liked walking out the back gate, crossing the dirt road and being on the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs, towels and toys for all ages. The pool was lovely but unfortunately, too cold to swim in. We loved all the outdoor living spaces, especially the upper floor front porch. The house had plenty of room for us all to spread out, yet very cozy gathering spaces. Very nice having all ensuite baths. Location was a short golf cart ride away from several amazing restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Home Away From Home

What a wonderful stay at Stonesthrow. A perfect layout for a large group that makes you feel right at home. Fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, & beach chairs. Gorgeous landscaping & steps from the beach. The real reason to stay at this property is the owners. Considerate, easy to reach, & quick to respond. They went above & beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend for groups of families or friends alike.

Fabulous stay and experience!

We loved everything about this wonderful property! Celebrated my 60th with our grown children and spouses. The owners provided recommendations for golf cart rentals, restaurants, excursions, ets and all spot on! The house had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable with multiple living spaces. My group loved the porch! Cheryl came and daily and was a delight as well as keeping everything clean and in order. We are are hoping to visit Harbour Island again and this is the perfect house! We were so glad to be able to meet the owners, they are fantastic host!

Well equipped

Having stayed at more than 10 places in this area I would say this house has been one of the best! The place is well done, quality bed linens, furnishings, etc! It was very well equipped! Came with paddle boards, kayaks, etc! The kitchen has every appliance you could possibly want and most of all the pool was HEATED!!! Yaaay! Used the pool daily! So nice! I would definitely stay again!

Stonesthrow was just perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful and really just a hop skip and a jump from the beach. The surrounding houses were beautiful too. The kitchen had literally everything you needed. I love that spices and non perishables were left for the next guest. This will save you a lot of money on the island. We were two families of 4 with kids ranging from 7 to 12. It was perfect layout. We will be back.

Beautiful Home and Ideal Location

Stonesthrow was the perfect house for our vacation! When we arrived, we were impressed that it was even better than we had expected from the online photos. Wonderful location across the street from the gorgeous beach, with all the beach amenities you could possibly need (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc.) The house was very clean and well laid out for our group, which consisted of two families, 4 adults and 4 tween/teens total. Bedding and towels were high quality and the beds were really comfortable! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all the amenities we needed to cook in a few nights. Cheryl was amazing and so helpful with her daily cleaning/ maintenance visits, and Gordon was super responsive whenever we had any house questions. We hope to return to Stonesthrow in the near future for another relaxing vacation!

Perfect

I have been going to harbour for many years and this property was the most equipped I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is fully equipped (my husband and I are both chefs) with top of the line everything. The lay out of the house was perfect for multiple families which worked great for us. Cheryl is a gem and helpful with whatever you want/ need. She babysat my 10 month old as well as my friends kids 4 and 8 when we had dinner a few nights. Gordon was very attentive and answered every question in a timely manner. I cannot recommend stones throw enough.

Family Birthday Trip

Stonesthrow was the perfect place for our 4 night stay for our family of 6 celebrating my husbands 50th. The house is better in person than we had imagined. Beautifully designed, clean and updated. The interior is very spacious. The elevated island living decor gorgeous. My favorite part was the expansive wrap around porch. The bathrooms were clean and and modern with good water pressure and plenty of hot water for all our to shower at the same time. The beds were comfortable the sheets were soft, new and clean. The A/C was nice and cold in the entire house. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. The water dispenser is a plus be you don’t have to buy your own bottled water. The Sonos speaker system was great for playing music. The pool and yard were our favorite place to relax after a day spent at the beach. The pool table provided lots of entertainment. The location is perfect. Steps from the beach. Less than a minute walk to the public beach that was mostly all to ourselves. It was beautiful and not crowded. The house has plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas towels, and a cooler. My kids enjoyed the boogie boards and snorkeling gear. The housekeeper Cheryl was a delight and kept our home clean and tidy and helped with the morning dishes and kept the towels fresh daily. We will definitely be coming back and staying for much longer!

Most fabulous stay!

What a wonderful home! It's huge for starters and decorated so nicely! Beds are so comfortable! Everything is perfect and clean and there is a housekeeper each morning! There are so many amenities I don't know where to start. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could want to cook and entertain! Huge washer and dryer. The pool is amazing and the outside bar by the pool is the cutest! Great location! Nice and quiet and just steps from the beach! They were great to communicate with! I can't wait to go back! We didn't want to leave!!!

Lovely home and beautiful beach!

The only issue we had was the A/C unit in the queen guest room didn’t work. Two of my grandchildren were not happy. No excuse for this.
