Fabulous location

Estaban was available for all our questions and made our stay as smooth as posible. We loved navigating the city by bus and walking. A very safe neighborhood with lots of skaters and bikers a d walkers.

If you want to see the mouth of the Canal and the Ship Traffic great place

The condo was great. The over all property could use some maintenance. The security was exceptional.

This location overall was just the right prescription for a city weary American! The host Estaban picked me up from PTY and took me to the store to get supplies, then gave me a tour of the area and provided history. He showed me all the ends and outs of the property to ensure my safety and the integrity of his property, I’m grateful. He left me a bus pass which was helpful and cool to ride so inexpensively. The property itself has a guard and gate. It’s located in a hidden location that most locals are unaware is there. It’s on the NAOS island that is connected to Perico island and Flamenco Island which are all within walking distance and there’s lots of restaurants and boutique shopping available. If you have kids with you there is playground area with water play area and a train the family can ride in La Bella Villa in the area. There’s a Marina there where you can watch boats or fisherman coming and going on their tours. You can also ferry to Taboga island.The studio apartment is right on the edge of the ocean. I visited during rainy season so I can’t speak for the pool or hot tub which you can imagine is popping during the right weather. Clean stylish lobby, working elevators. Gorgeous view from the room, view huge ships sailing to and from the Panama Canal. Firm but comfortable bed. Small kitchen area, full refrigerator. A/C kept the place cool & ceiling fan, which for this Menopausal Diva is a MUST! Thank you for an awesome stay!

Perfect Place to Enjoy the City Without The City

This place is secluded, has a wonderful view, is in walking distance to several restaurants and shopping, but is not in the middle of Panama City. When we wanted to sight see, an uber would affordably take us in and out. Leaving us to our lovely, quiet studio on Amador Causeway. As a runner, the Causeway was perfect. If we come back to this area, we'll be staying here. The host, Esteban is awesome! He picked us up at the airport (so worth it) and offered his nephew to drive us to far off places like Coronado for the day. Exceptionally accommodating on every level.

a lovely 10 day stay at, by far, the best location on the causeway

The location and view were the best that we saw while in Panama. The booking process was smooth and accommodating. The complex was in need of some repairs and improvements which seemed to be in the works, but for the cost, the facility was very adequate. Estaban, was the most gracious and helpful host. He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off, and stayed in contact throughout our stay to make sure we had no problems and were enjoying our vacation. We would recommend the accommodations to our friends and family.

Best Host Ever!

I booked two units with Esteban, in anticipation of conducting a boat survey, one for me and one for my Contractor/Captain. I experienced significant travel issues and was unable to get to Panama. Esteban and his son went above and beyond to ensure that my Captain was well taken care of and that he was able to complete the tasks assigned to him The apartment was lovely and the hosts most gracious. Esteban kept me informed throughout the process and made sure that the Capt was taken care of throughout his stay. The completed survey could not have happened with out the assistance of our host and his son

Amazing Panama Canal view, great location, very accommodating hosts.

We enjoyed our extended stay very much. We stayed at this location for a month. So much to do if you want to be active. If not, then just relax watching the magnificent ships transiting into and out of the Panama Canal. The condo apartment is just as described, with modern furniture, and decorated very nicely. Very clean. Esteban and his wife Carmen, are wonderful hosts with past ties to Canada. They were so helpful in answering any queries we might have. The location on the Amador Causeway, is perfect. Great for walking, seeing the sights and visiting restaurants. Many activities close by, from SUP rentals to fishing charters, high speed ferry tours to Taboga and the Pearl Islands, bicycle rentals, etc. Local bus service available, very reliable and modern. Taxis also plentiful. In summary, a Great Place, and certainly would go back. Thanks Esteban and Carmen for making us feel so much at home in your Condo, and so comfortable on the beautiful Amador Causeway and surrounds.

Amazing View

Where to begin. The condo was amazing! Very well appointed, clean and well equipped and the views were magnificient. We enjoyed just sitting in the condo watching the cargo and cruise ships entering and leaving the Panama Canal. The location is very convenient to restaurants and we highly recommend Lenos & Carbon (food was amazing). For any real grocery shopping, we advise you do so prior to reaching the Causeway. Although the Mini Mart is close by, selection isn't great and prices are high. Esteban and his son were amazing hosts. The booking process was seamless. Esteban was quick to respond to questions prior to our arrival and both went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The night of our arrival, the TV remote was not working. After communicating with Esteban, we established it was the batteries and we said we would just pick some up while out the next day. Very soon after, Esteban, Jr. knocked on our door with new batteries. It was 9pm and he traveled from his home to bring the batteries. On our day of departure, the main route to the airport had some road closures due to the Carnival celebration. Esteban came to the condo at 8am to lead us around the closures and ensured we were on the right path to the airport. These are just a few examples of the kindness of Esteban and his family. They truly care about their guests. We highly recommend booking this property for your Panama City vacation.

I'm late doing my review but I had a wonderful experience in Panama and a wonderful experience staying in Amador in Esteban's condo! I will most certainly be back and would love to stay there again. This was my first ever solo trip and I was worried at first but Esteban made me feel extremely safe and comfortable. I just wish I could've met him in person. The only issue I had was when enetering and leaving through the gates the security gaurd's dogs would bark viciously and run after me. I'm not too afraid of dogs but it was scary and the gaurd never seemed to be in a hurry to gain control of them. They never once bit me though. It was just a little too close for comfort for me. I know they were just doing their job so I don't take it personally but at the same time, I was a guest not an intruder. That's just the only thing I would change. Other than that everything was perfect! The views were just as beautiful as the reviews said and the neighbors were nice and quiet. I think I may have seen 4 other people there the whole week I stayed. Esteban helped me find some things to do and even connected me with a nice driver named Jose who picked me up from the airport and helped me grocery shop. Help like that is invaluable. When it was time to go Esteban's son took me to the airport and he was so nice! I would definitely encourage anyone to book with this family. Thanks again Esteban! Stassi

Great apartment. Great location. Fantastic owner

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at this property on the Amador Causeway. Enjoying our trip began at the airport where the owner himself picked us up, escorted us across the city to shopping and then to the condo. It was very clean and was a well organized studio apartment. Pools were clean. The views are spectacular. We walked or bussed to local restaurants. If we were staying longer than 4 days, the unit may have been too small for us but for a short stay it was excellent. What made our visit special was the enthusiasm and hospitality of the owner Estaban and his son, Estaban Jr. Smart, honest and helpful. After we set off on our journey to explore the rest of the country, we continued to receive helpful emails and check-ins. Helpful because we drove 1,300 km in 11 days around a Spanish speaking country without knowing anything more than the basics. That was an adventure. Knowing that we had someone we could call in case of emergency was a great source of support. Fortunately we made it and enjoyed ourselves. Panama was worth seeing and Estaban's apartment was a great place to start. Gracias Estaban!

Spectacular View

We had a wonderful vacation, the home was very clean, all necessities were there and the view was amazing. Watching the large ships come and go all day was special to see. The location was close to restaurants, mini market and easy access for taxi or Uber rides. The owner was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Panama City is a beautiful city and we were happy to spend some time there.

Esteban and his son provided a wonderful experience for our Panama vacation. They provided for all of our transportation and created wonderful daily tours at a vey reasonable rate. The studio apartment overlooked the main Pacific channel and entrance to the Panama Canal. Absolutely breathtaking!

Best & most caring owners of a vacation rental you'll find. Esteban & Carmen went out of their way to assure me (as a solo female traveler) if I needed assistance of any kind to just contact them. They helped me with local transportation to places that were difficult to arrange. Went out of their way to obtain info to local things to do that I had trouble finding. Their nephew Miguel was great taking me to places I wanted to go which would of been a little difficult to get return taxis, it made travels so much easier, non stressful and less time consuming. Best possible view in the world of large ships going past. Awesome sunsets. Nice pools and one was heated just the way I like it. A/C worked great. Comfortable furnishing and bed. Kitchen well equipped. Nice shower. Very quiet. Building and parking area well kept, outdoor pool chairs seem new. Location on causeway is exceptional with easy walking and safe evening outings. Views of ships waiting entrance to canal on one side and Panama city on the other. Especially enjoyed Mi Ranchito restaurant (8 minute walk) for seafood, atmosphere with friendly and fast service. Recommend a bus pass if staying more than a few days. I will return to Panama and stay in this condo in the future. Thanks Esteban, Carmen, Miguel & Carlos for your dedication, care, concern, doing everything possible to make sure I had a safe & fulfilling time right from the start of booking all the way thru to my return home. Could not be better

The whole experience of this condo was amazing. It is a bit out of town but if you have a car and a GPS app, you won't find a better place to stay. The condo has great security, luggage carts, washer and dryer, elevators, covered parking and more. The unit is a studio and great for one or two people and the view is amazing of the ships passing by to enter the Panama canal. It's a great location to visit Tobaga or the Armador causeway and also convenient to Casco Viejo (about 10 minutes). I do recommend a GPS app when finding it...

The best place in Panamá

This place had everything we needed to make our stay in Panama one to remember. The apartment has stunning views and every other amenity you need to relax at the end of a tiring day. The view was breathtaking, warm and breezy ( perfect for morning coffee, reading, watching the stars, and also working), the amenities wonderful ( hot tub, pool and gym) Esteban and his family were amazing hosts who were always available when needed. Esteban is a great communicator who answered all my needs. We can't thank them enough for renting out their beautiful property and helping make our stay one we will always remember. We look forward to coming back again.

Hi Everyone - yes that it is me behind that fat finger. I placed it on propose just in case someone where to copy it for "other" propose.

We have plenty of family, career and fishing photos to share. More important are the memories you will make and pictures you will take in Panama. This property is located in a 4 lanes private road connecting NAOS Island. You are close to the Ocean, other Islands yet 10-15 minutes from Downtown and Financial District in Panama City.

We are a retired Panamanian born - Canadian Couple that have made many friends through our rental properties and traveling. We can stay away and leave you along to enjoy your trip and privacy or be there to help you any time you want.

Need advise on where to go fishing - Salt Water or Fresh Water ? we will link you up with decent tour guides. Stopping to feed wild monkeys on the shorts of the Panama Canal while a local boat captain take you to the best spot for Bass fishing - PriceLess.

No grandchild yet but one day will tell those stories and adventures of the water ways and jungle of the Panama Canal. Best part yet, just a 3 to 4 hours round trip, including fishing time...

Need advise on Best places to party, Junior will talk to you...

Want to learn and appreciate our Spain influenced Culture at the Country Site, we will tell you how to get Los Santos province. Beautiful dresses Google Panamanian Pollera. Same for our Aboriginal tribes - Google San Blas Island or Kuna Culture in Panama.

And if stay in the beach water is your thing, just walk 10 min to the Ferry Terminal and take a 25 minutes boat ride to Taboga Island - sandy beaches and natural wild flowers all year round. You can do Breakfast in NAOS (our location), visit Taboga Island for swimming and Lunch and still make it for supper back in Panama City by 3pm, all this diversity within reach in very short time.
