Cuchara Vacation Rentals – Pet Policy

We welcome well-behaved dogs in approved properties only. Cats, birds, reptiles, and all other animals are strictly prohibited. Under no circumstances may any unauthorized animal be brought onto the property.
By booking, guests agree to the following mandatory dog rules:
• Disclosures & Age:
All dogs must be declared at the time of reservation (with the total count provided). Dogs must be at least 1 year old.
• Leash & Supervision: Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside.
• Unattended Dogs: Dogs may not be left unattended for extended periods indoors or outdoors, and are never permitted unattended on balconies, patios, porches, or yards. If left alone inside, the dog must be secured in a kennel/carrier placed on a tile or wood floor.
• Furniture & Care: Dogs are NOT allowed on furniture at any time. Evidence of dogs on furniture will result in additional cleaning or damage fees. All dogs must be treated with flea and tick prevention.
• Behavior & Noise: Excessive barking or growling is not permitted. Guests must ensure dogs do not disturb neighbors. If a dog cannot be controlled, guests may be required to leave immediately with no refund for unused nights.
• Waste & Liability: Guests must clean up all pet waste in the yard, driveway, and surrounding areas immediately. Cuchara Vacation Rentals and the homeowner assume no responsibility for illness, injury, or loss involving pets or humans.
