Amazing Tuscany Villa

From the entry driveway to the views from the villa - it was an amazing experience and so close to everything. Great location away from the busy city center for a quiet and relaxing stay. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together.

Wonderful place to stay. Our group of 8 had plenty of space to be together and space for alone time. Walking distance to village, but recommend a vehicle for sightseeing etc. Would definitely stay again if in area. Views were amazing.

Comfortable villa in superb location

This property was ideal for our friends’ trip. While easily accessible by a regular bus that goes directly to all the main attractions in Florence, it’s set in fantastic surroundings in the hills. The villa has been finished to a high standard and is well equipped.

Wonderful Holiday

I cannot praise the kindness and helpfulness of the managers too much. They went far beyond their duty to provide a helpful and considerate service. The description on the internet does not do justice to the fantastic property which accommodates eight people generously and yet we did not feel swamped when it was only my husband any myself for a short time. We would hope to return in future and are busily singing its praises to friends who may themselves book.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

This is a lovely Tuscan villa with breathtaking views of the Monastery and the countryside. Nestled on a quiet, private drive, it is a wonderful place to get away and soak up the scenery. Lucia and Gilberto are wonderful hosts, who answered all our questions, helped us with all our needs. The air conditioning and pool were just wonderful during the heat of the summer. The villa was spotlessly clean and all the rooms were very comfortable. The bus stop to get into downtown Florence is just a couple of minutes walk down the driveway and an easy jaunt into historic Florence. When I am back in Tuscany, I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday Lucia and Gilberto.

A Pleasant Tuscan Retreat

After a few days in Roma our family of 10 with 7 adults and 3 kids in their early teens wanted to stay at a place in Tuscany that’s near some wineries and also accessible to Firenze. Lucia’s house is perfect! Bus #11 La Gora final stop is down the road from the house which takes you to the sights in Florence in less than a half hour. Antinori and Torciano wineries are also within a half hour away and San Gimignano town. The views from the house of the Chartreuse of Florence atop the hill is stunning and sunrise in the morning is magical. We hired Chef Tales private chef to cook our parents’ anniversary dinner and it was fantastic classic Tuscan cuisine. Our family enjoyed staying at this big house and would recommend it to large groups. We hope to visit again sometime. Grazie mille Lucia!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche!

Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, nur die Zufahrt ist ein bisschen herausfordernd, kriegt man aber hin! Für Besuche in Florenz braucht man kein Auto, der Bus hält direkt vor der Zufahrt, in 20 Minuten ist man direkt am Dom! Ein Supermarkt und Restaurants sind auch gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber haben immer schnell geantwortet, die Kommunikation lief super.erreichen .

Paradise

Perfect location to access Florence and Chianti region but just outside the busy noisy city life. So relaxing to sit on the deck and marvel at the lush valley and the magnificent Certosa dominating the hills. For anyone who has travelled with friends or family imagine having 4 bathrooms... Check-in was a breeze, the hosts were easy to contact, place was fully equipped, and house exceeded the pictures. We all did the "Oh wow!" thing when we walked into the entrance. Highly recommend this place! 10 out of 10

Beautiful and perfectly located home in Florence

Singora Lucia is an incredible host for this well maintained and strategically positioned home. The house was recently renovated with additional rooms and bathrooms that were very functional. The views of the hills and the Certosa are beautiful. The details provided by the host are meticulous with which a hotel cannot even compete (e.g., plenty of clean towels, blankets, full furnished kitchen, etc.). The house is located in the hills of Florence but within 15-20 minutes driving (or bus nearby) of center city. We were there for Christmas for a family reunion and could not have a better time (they even provided us with a Christmas tree and some decoration). Highly recommended and we will be back soon.

Beautiful, large country house with bus connection to city center

This large house is superbly located: from the road with the bus leading directly to the city center, you walk through an archway, leaving the traffic and noise behind you. After 300m through along meadows and gardens you find the house overlooking the countryside and the nearby monastery. The host was perfect: we found the house fully equipped and the kitchen stocked with basics and a full dinner and breakfast.

We feld in love with the apartment, it’s location close to Florence, and in the country side.

We highly recommend this apartment to anybody. We were 10 persons.(3 children and 7 adults) and it fit us all in. The pool was excellent for the children. With temperature in the 34-38C, coming back from Florence to the appartement and going in the pool was good. A bus ride to Florence city centre took only 15-18 minutes. For 1.5€ the best way to visit Florence. We were very happy with our choice. The manager, Lucia was very helpfull and available Normand

Besser geht Florenz nicht

Die Kommunikatin und der Empfang waren herzlich. Daneben fanden wir vieles vor, dass uns die Tage erleichterte (Shampoo, Handseife, Kekse, Essig, Öl usw.) Die Unterkunft hat allen sehr gut gefallen und der Pool machte die heißen Tage erträglich. Die Aussicht war grandios. Das Haus liegt nahe an einer Busstation, von der man alle 20 min. Florenz in 15 min. erreichen kann. Auch die Autobahn ist nicht weit entfernt. Allerdings ist die Zufahrt etwas eng, VW-Bus und Passat haben es aber kratzerfrei geschafft. Einfach toll.

excellent location

the property is excellent.emerged in a green landscape with a breathtaking view. you can reach the centre of Florence by bus or by car .the pool is perfect for the hot days.Lucia waited for us and was very kind showing the house. A full basket of toscan goodies was awaiting for us.Definitely i will come back sometime.

This is a great place to stay. It is very beautiful and restful. The hosts are very accommodating. It is a lovely house and kept very clean. The village is well supplied and the shops are about 750 m away from the property. The only thing to be aware of with this property is that it is quite a way outside Florence. It takes about 20 mins by bus to get into Florence. The buses are usually regular but we did have one occasion when the bus didn't come for over 1 hour. So if you don't have time constraints it would be harder to find a nice place to stay.

Great place

Lucia was lovely. My family and I met her and she was very accommodating and helpful. The place was clean, big and gorgeous! It had a very rustic feel to it. The backyard has a beautiful view of some Tuscan hills and the location is very close to the Flornece city center, approximately 20 minutes by car. We highly recommend this place
