Our stay in the hills of Florence was absolutely unforgettable. The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family of six (my husband and I, our two boys, and my parents). The setting was peaceful and breathtaking—you could hear the church bells ring from the nearby village of Settignano, which added such a special touch to the atmosphere. The sunsets were gorgeous! Our boys loved swimming in the pool every day, while I especially enjoyed strolling through the olive grove and exploring the vast property. It truly felt like a slice of Tuscan paradise. What made our stay exceptional, though, was the owner, Giovanni. He was such a kind and generous host, always available to answer questions and eager to help. When our luggage was delayed for several days, Giovanni went above and beyond—making calls on our behalf and even driving to the airport himself to retrieve our bags. His thoughtfulness and care made all the difference. One word of advice for future guests: do not rent a large passenger van when staying here. The roads leading to the property are very narrow and winding, and we unfortunately damaged our rental van trying to navigate them. A smaller vehicle would be much better suited. This property is a gem, and Giovanni is a treasure. We would return in a heartbeat!
