Property was the perfect home base for our Sept 2025 trip to Columbus for the Korn Ferry tour stop. Host was very responsive.

The house is nice, and accurately described online. We stayed for 2 nights. The automated thermostat increased temperature in the middle of the night to 80 degrees. Despite decreasing the temperature manually, and asking the owner to fix it, the problem occurred on the second night as well.

Alex checked into our property and reported thermostat concerns during his stay. We provided immediate guidance on how to adjust the temperature and also monitored and adjusted it remotely when needed. The home uses an Eco Mode schedule, which is standard for larger properties to maintain system safety and efficiency, and the thermostat is fully controllable by guests at any time. After checkout, Alex requested a partial refund based on having to adjust the thermostat during his stay. We responded promptly and did our best to address his concerns, but the refund request continued even though no emergency or unresolved issue occurred during the reservation. Based on this experience, we would not recommend hosting Alex again, as communication was challenging and expectations were not aligned with typical short-term rental standards.

We had a wonderful holiday stay at this house with my out-of-town parents, and it was the perfect spot for making memories together. The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed.The size was ideal for our group – plenty of room to spread out, including a large 2-car garage that made arriving and unloading a breeze. We loved the home gym for quick workouts and spent relaxing evenings playing pool, which was a huge hit! The kitchen was fantastic – fully stocked and spacious, making it easy to prepare holiday meals.What really stood out was the owners' communication – they were highly responsive to our questions and very accommodating throughout the process. Everything about this rental exceeded our expectations, and we'd happily return. Highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable, amenity-packed home!

We paid 5,000 for a seven-day stay after being assured the property was in excellent condition and ready for our family. Unfortunately, we arrived to find a fallen tree and debris obstructing the walkway, making access unsafe for my 81-year-old sister. My nephew had to help clear a safe path.The pool, which we had especially looked forward to enjoying, was green and unusable. The pool technician arrived the next day, told us it was unsafe to swim, treated and vacuumed it, and advised us to wait several days. It was not clear and usable until about Day 5 of our seven-day stay.I completely understand that storms happen. What disappointed us was that the storm had occurred several days earlier, yet we were not told about the condition of the property before arriving. Had we known, we could have made an informed decision.When I raised these concerns, Sean repeatedly asked me to be patient and compassionate and suggested I should have researched the weather and expected these conditions. No compensation was offered. By Day 7, the tree and debris were removed and the pool looked beautiful—I only wish that had been the condition when we arrived.Beautiful property, but poor communication and management left us feeling that we did not receive the experience we paid for.

We booked this property for a business group traveling to Columbus and left the following evening because the conditions were unacceptable.We reported dirty, sticky floors; crumbs and debris throughout the home, including inside cabinets and utensil drawers; bathroom staining and mold-like buildup; what appeared to be blood droplets on a bathroom wall; bedding soiled with what appeared to be bodily fluids; nail clippings; hair; and other debris.We also had security concerns. The rear sliding door was secured only with a pole, and a missing section of the rear fence allowed open access to the property.The listing states the home accommodates 16 guests, but anyone beyond eight would need to bring linens, pillows, and towels, assuming several guests sleep on couches.The screened patio and backyard were not well maintained. The grass appeared mowed, but the rest looked neglected. A train track is at the rear property line, and we heard trains pass two or three times during our short stay.The property has potential, but it is not currently maintained to the standard shown in the listing.Vrbo was excellent. They were receptive, stayed in constant communication with us, and repeatedly contacted the host. We provided photos, videos, and live video documentation, but no timely or adequate remedy was provided, and our concerns were disputed or minimized.We vacated in less than 25 hours and had to relocate eight guests to three hotel rooms at considerable additional expens
