The new patio table and chairs are an added plus. The office staff are very friendly and are quick to respond. There are many good restaurants nearby. If you enjoy seafood, I would recommend visiting the Seafood Kitchen which is right up the road.

Very comfortable. They all have a great view of the ocean. The grounds are beautifully kept.

Clean, relaxing, safe, beach getaway with full ocean view!

My husband and I met my sister and brother-in-law for a long weekend. The property was immaculately clean, the grounds and inside the condo. The kitchen was stocked and the condo was roomy and cozy. The ocean was closer than I had thought from seeing the pictures online. The morning sunrise was not full-on view due to time of year, but close and we were able to enjoy a beautiful view! The ocean view was gorgeous! I love that there is plenty of safe space for children to run and play in the grass. The security made us feel even safer with checks around the property. I was thankful for the no pet and no smoking on property, as I have allergies. We enjoyed meals at Connelly's, the Redfrog, O'Steen's, and Hurricane Patty's. A visit to Ripley's and a tour of St. Augustine with Jeff on the red train from Ripley's did not disappoint! We will definitely rent this space again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is awesome. Our view of the ocean and the pool was amazing! Love that the on ramp to drive my truck on the beach was 5 mins away. I was able to drive all our beach stuff out and get a spot first thing in the morning and then walk back to the condo. My only complaint is that the tile floors were pretty gross and needed to be mopped. Our feet were black by the end of the first day. If I'm being picky.... the address provided as the physical location in the check in email directed me across the street. Should of just been directed to the resort. Other than the dirty floors, this place was great!

Overall, we greatly enjoyed the property and the amenities were wonderful. Our only negative was the cleanliness of the condo unit. The floors were dirty, kitchen cabinets (shelves) need to be cleaned and the bathroom tub had to be cleaned before we could use it.We would also recommend updating the televisions and patio furniture.

Unit 3406 however was a little disappointing as to its cleanliness even though it is rated as a silver and not a gold rental unit. The staff was excellent and responsive to any of our needs. We definitely wish to rent at Colony Reef again next year but preferably a gold unit. We would consider unit 3406 again if the floors and porch could be better maintained and the master bedroom bed would be more comfortable.

However the unit 3406 is very dated with uncomfortable beds and shower heads that are almost unusable. Therefore we would like to rent another unit if possible for the months of Jan. and Feb. 2022. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 7th year at CRC. Aside from wishing better flooring in our unit, we are extremely happy again to be here. We enjoy guided beach walks at Washington Oaks Park, GTM Reserve, and Ravine State Park (Palatka). St. A is close by with trolley tours, great architecture (tour the College and Castello San Marco) and where we find worthwhile art exhibits and galleries. Grocery stores are five minutes away and Disneyworld 2 hours away. Our favourite restaurants are Harry's, South Beach Grill, and La Strada.

GOOD NEWS! The owner of the condo has updated the flooring to all new luxury vinyl plank flooring, in addition to the new flooring they have updated all of the appliances.

3406 Great view, needs updating

Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the property, cleanliness and size of pool, great view from the condo and very friendly/professional staff. The unit 3406 however needs some attention. Slip covers don't fix everything, especially when they are not very clean! (I read that couches and master bed mattress will be replaced, and this is much needed). Dining chairs are also slipcovered and stained. Shower curtain liners need to be washed or replaced. Visible mold on bottom. $3 fix. Grout in both baths was also dirty/moldy. Kitchen is poorly stocked, with the exception of ample silverware. Pots/pans nonstick coating is flaking so we did not use. Kitchen is very cramped. We have stayed at the ocean many times and understand it is difficult to keep things spotless. This unit however could benefit from a deep clean. I didn't report anything to management, since we were busy and not planning on staying in the unit other than for sleeping. Would stay in this complex again, just not in this unit.

We do have extra shower curtain liners in the office and I will make sure that the cleaners get a new liner for future guests. Our Eighth Year at Colony Reef

As stated in an email to Grace 3406 should not be rented until the owners upgrade the entire unit; including the mattresses, living room furniture, kitchen utensils, cleaning of screens, bed pillows, etc. However, we do enjoy Colony Reef as an excellent place to rent for a winter getaway; just not this particular unit, 3406.

This is a silver condo so it is not as updated as a Gold, however, the owner has already made arrangement to replace the living room furniture and master bedroom mattress.
