This property was well decorated, clean and the view spectacular. We did not have enough towels for our family when we arrived but were able to pick more at the office. The kitchen needs more plates and bowls. Small suggestions. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

We love it! Staying on the beach with beautiful ocean views - sitting drinking coffee reading the Bible watching the run rise was THE BEST! The unit was immaculate! The entire complex was clean and neat freshly painted it updated in every area around the pool and showers. Such an easy walk across the walkway to the bridge from the pool area.A different small food truck every day with cold treats for all was so fun! Unloading and loading was made easy with not only but industrial shopping carts to put your stuff in, especially when you brought in groceries for the week.We loved it here We will be back!

Very nice Condo and Complex

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed over Independence Day holiday for the week. Condo was very clean and thoughtfully laid out/furnished and had all cooking “things” one would need on a week of vacation. View was spectacular! Colony Reef is the best complex in St. Augustine that we have stayed at. The pool is 3x size Vs other complex smaller pools. Hot tub is a plus. Indoor sauna is fantastic. Also not found at other complexes is the the large grassy open courtyard which lends itself to kids/teenagers putting together ad-hoc games and putting AWAY THIER PHONES....Volleyball, kickball, wiffleball,, football, frisbee. Seeing our kids and niece use verbal communication skills with other kids gave me hope for the future;) Have fun but thankfully quite time settles in 9-10ish - it was a family environment. The complex itself was very clean and the front office people are great to work with. Oh - daily food/coffee trucks were a treat too!

I have been staying at Colony Reef for over thirty years. I personally like a little bit of an outdated, tile floor, sandy vacation feel. It’s part of the beach experience. This was our first time staying in this particular condo.The condo was spacious and clean. The living room furniture was pretty rough though. The two blue chairs are so old and worn down it made it nearly impossible to sit in them. The couch was good but small and that was a problem since we couldn’t use the blue chairs. Beds were good, view was amazing, outdoor patio furniture was wonderful, kitchen was good, bathrooms were great, laundry was great, it is quiet and beautiful, and the elevators worked the entire week this time! Our front glass door was broken but the office has it fixed it the day after we put in the request. If the living room had a larger couch like most or different chairs, that would have been nice. Luckily, we didn’t spend too much time in the living room. It was a bit odd that there were not any beach towels, beach chairs, or toys left by other people. It’s the first time we have had to l purchase these items which was a bit annoying since taking them back home would be pointless. I would stay here again if others were not available. We had a wonderful vacation and truly had no major complaints. The property is one of my favorites. Food trucks, movie night, beautiful grass area, clean pool, and of course the beautiful beach. As always, we will be back

While our condos get significant use in the summer months all the condos should be clean and comfortable, so please let us know next time if something was missed with the cleaner and we will send them back right away. Family beach vacation

This trip was everything we hoped it would be. The location was perfect - close to lots of great restaurants. The condo included access to the beach and outdoor / indoor pools which we loved. The views were spectacular and the inside was nicely decorated. We made so many great memories on this trip and will be returning!

Very Disappointed — Beautiful View, But Unit 1402 Is Not Gold Sta

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Unit 1402 at Colony Reef Club. While the oceanfront view was beautiful, we were very disappointed with the condition and upkeep of the condo. Based on our experience, it did not meet what we expected from a Gold-level unit.The Colony Reef property itself was clean, beautiful, and well maintained. Our concerns are specifically with Unit 1402.Colony Reef offers Silver, Gold, and Platinum classifications. Members of our family stayed in other units in the same complex at the same time, and the difference in condition was noticeable. Their units appeared much better maintained and equipped, and they also had beautiful ocean views. This made it difficult to understand why Unit 1402 was considered Gold.We found rust in the primary bathroom sink and definitely mold/mildew in the shower, as well as rust on the refrigerator, bottom oven drawer was broken. The storm door was missing its lower panel, so we could not open the main door and simply leave the storm door closed for ventilation. The toilet paper holder would not stay in place, the shower curtain rod was not securely attached, and the unit was missing a coffee table. The two swivel chairs were broken you had to be careful not to tip over. There was also only one ceiling fan in one bedroom.We also never received an email with checkout instructions.We took photos documenting several of these issues, including the rust, shower condition, refrigerator, and storm door.The view and location are wonderful, but other units in the same complex offered equally beautiful views while appearing to be in much better condition. For us, the view did not make up for the maintenance and furnishing issues.We would not stay in Unit 1402 again until the needed repairs, updates, and renovations have been addressed. The complex itself is lovely; unfortunately, the condition of this particular unit was disappointing and did not feel like a Gold-level experien

Our stay was fabulous!

Girls getaway for 5 days was wonderful! Location was perfect. Very clean! Beds were comfy! Kitchen perfectly stocked! Electric grill and outdoor furniture on the porch was awesome!! We watched the sunrise every morning from the porch….breathtaking :)

Family atmosphere

Thankful Colony Reef Club discourages party goers with the no smoking anywhere and limited drinking. Made for a quiet vacation with little shenanigans. If able, we will certainly choose 1402 again.

Great view

The condo is beautifully furnished in an eclectic beachy theme. It was very clean but needs a new master sink drain that isn't rusty. Stove and refrigerator work fine but have some rust on the doors. Very comfortable beds and seating. Beautifully view and comfortable balcony seating

Really nice place

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great views. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of morning sunshine and nice afternoon sea breeze. Love the location. Colony Reef Club is well maintained. I liked that there was a security presence all the time.

Wonderful!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 4 week stay was exceptional. The property was well equipped with a view to die for. We never tired of watching the sunrise from the spacious balcony. The location to the beautiful beach was perfect.Also proximity to St Augustine was very convenient. The management team was always very quick to respond to any queries I had. The whole experience was wonderful.
