Very comfortable, clean small cottage. We slept great in the bed that was provided and it had a futon in the living area . We recommend that only 2 people stay there. They had a toaster oven , a full refrigerator and a coffee maker. It is very close to Route 1, Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta.

Ive been a avid traveler for 40 years and I have not once left a negative review. I pride myself on being positive and reasonable and it actually breaks my heart to be force into the position to even write this. Im going to be as honest and fair as possible. PROS: Before I arrived the owner comminicated quickly and was pleasant. The location of the cabin is excellent,,, right near route 1 in the greater Boothbay area. The bathroom has been beautifully updated. The kitchen is well appionted with lots of spices, pot holders, and equipment.CONS: The cabin has not been cleaned in quite some time. The screen door for the sliding glass door was broken and not usable. There was a birds next falling through the skylight in the bathroom cause debris in the shower. There was black mold everywhere. I reached out to the owner and he communicated that his maintenance team would be over in the morning to address some of these issues. I was away from the cabin for 10 hours and when I returned, maintenance had NOT addressed these issues. I reached out to the owner again and was basically told,,, "its my birthday, I'm partying, you should just leave". So, 5 hours away from home, in the middle of my stay and no available hotel options for 100 miles (it was a Saturday night in August on the Maine coast, everything was booked), I was forced to pack and drive all the way home. This was the worst VRBO experience of my life.
